Roach and his new undetectable P.E.D's is going to make monsters out of all of his pupils.
I can see it now Haye knocking out both Klit's
Ok, this is just a joke but it still makes for interesting talk, don't you think?

Roach is a great coach and trainer who understands a fighters strengths and weaknesses, then builds a game plan and training camp around that. As good or better then anyone currently. Would be a good move for Haye, but yea, can't see it either until PAC/PBF. People can hate on him for things he says and maybe have a point, but anyone who questions his abilities to train fighters is justa hater.

It's a nice idea but the timing is way off, pretty admirable of Booth though if true as it can't be easy acknowledging that you're not good enouh.
But with the rumours of Khan being on the Pac Vs PBF undercard as well I ust cannot see it being possible if Haye is fighting in the Spring. I had my concerns with Roach training two fighters let alone three.
Booth has always been really switched on as a manager etc. In terms of conditioning he really knows his stuff but watching him in the corner against Valuev you could see he was limited in that aspect... good to see he's doing the right thing.
Always thought that the bloke had his head screwed on and the fact he's looking for somebody past his level shows it.

k man guess I read it out of it's intent, my bad. sorry.
Both him and Richardson I think have a keen eye for developing fighters for specific opponents. It isn't going to work every time, ofc, but they do put a good game plan together based on what that fighter brings to the tbl. Even in the short time we saw Khan fight against MAB you could tell that was the work of Roach, working with what he had. You got a guy with great speed and mobility who is kinda chinny, you keep him outside and use range and work angles. Still not sure what woulda happened down the stretch there...
Richardson gets high marks from me as well for busting Margo's cheating ass, by looking at every detail and refusing to just accept "They are ok" because they were signed off. This isn't the first time he did it, so yea, high marks for that alone. Helping fix boxing as a sport, by shining a light on it's ugly side and exposing it.
Roach could help out a couple heavyweights, but I think he's got a full plate with: Pac, Kahn, and Rigondeaux those guys are at or near top class and they will deserve full attention from Roach, the HEAD trainer. If Roach is brought in as an assistant (which I doubt he would do) he may be able to provide SOME help.
Adam Booth is no different than Joe Santiago

agree, i think the main reason that Richardson and Roach have so much success is because they don't really try to change a fighters style, they take what they have and alter small things to make the most of what they have to offer, look at Manny he's still an aggressive come forward type fighter, thing is he paces himself now, isn't as careless and sharpened his offense making him less vulnerable, Shane still looked like Shane when he took apart Margarito same as Hopkins did against Pavlik, that's why they have more success with a wider variety of styles and types of fighters than lets say Mayweather Sr and Steward

Steward is a legend though I feel like he lost a bit of grip lately with his stable in general, perhaps just bad moment though. Richardson is a very good pick so would be Ronnie Shield, Fritz Sdunek or Uli Wenger. I don't think Goosen is that extraordinary though, good for sure but I don't see him as one of the very best in the business.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Dan Birmingham is a quality trainer and there are tons of quality trainers out there that don't have quality fighters...I wonder if Kevin Rooney will ever rebound the biggest fighter he has had since Tyson is Pazienza and the best heavyweight he's had hasn't been all that great and more recently Leonard Pierre Anasta was a bust as well.
I think Mark Breland (trainer of Deontay Wilder) has the potential to be a very talented trainer.
He also wears those snappy Tommy Bahama shirts![]()

It Will Make Haye Better Then What He Already Is, Roach Is So Far Talked As The Best Trainer Alive

If he was the guy who used to train Corrales, then i agree.
He was great for Chico.
Back to Roach/ Boothe... I actually thought Boothe was giving Haye some great advice. There was one piece of advice given in the mid rounds that was the difference between life and death.
I think it was along the lines of:
''If you get caught on the ropes, just fidget and then fuck him off''
