Right now, Paullie would still lose to hatton but not as bad. Hatton is around 180 lbs lol, he'll never be as good anymore. He'll never fight Paullie .why would he? One more fight and he'll retire

THERE IS NOO WAY DIAZ ONE THE 1ST FIGHT WITH PAULIE, 100 PERCENT OUT BOXED HIM, 2 REASON WHY THEY GAVE DIAZ THE FIGHT KAUZE ONE OF THE JUDGES DID NOT LIKE PAULIES STYLE AND THE OTHER THEY WERE IN HIS HOME TOWN

I AGREE PAULIE WILL GIVE A MUCH BETTER FIGHT

It was not a crime that Diaz was given the first fight against Paulie, you do have the margin for hometown decisions and it was a close fight...Hell even Malinaggi himself said it was not losing the fight that was wrong it was the fact they gave it to Diaz by such wide margins.....A freaking crime in truth

Another thing i would like to point out.

Paulie didn't dominate, he did win clearly but Diaz had more success than the thread title suggests.

I agree, I just watched the fight and thought it was going to be completely one sided, but Paulie was definitely comfortable the whole fight and he did let Diaz come at him I think to build up the action a bit. He was flat footed a lot more this fight. Even said at the end he did that cause the backing up looked bad to the judges. Either way it was a good fight, I really enjoy Paulie

Diaz did seem off to me though, not sure if Paulie just ripped his heart out from the beginning or what.
McGirt recalling the minute break between the 9th round of the Ward fight "He said, 'Help me stand up and I'll finish the fight.'"

Diaz's heart was ripped out when he found himself on wobbly legs from a Malignaggi uppercut and was staring at the more shocked and stunned Malignaggi. Does anyone have a still image of his face when he realize he'd actually hurt someone?

How many right hands did Paulie throw against Hatton?
    Obviously his hand was broken.

Funny stuff Pugilistic. I mean when was the last time Paulie hurt someone. With all his clowning around, it is easy to not like Paulie, but it is pretty clear to me that it is an act and that he probably is a decent guy when the camera isn't on him.

My question is who can Paulie beat of the top guys at 140? Who should he fight next?

Bradley, Khan, Maidana, Ortiz, Alexander, Peterson? They're all tough fights for the Magic Man.

Maybe he should just stay busy for the winner of the Marquez v. Hatton fight.

Actually, Paulie seems like the perfect foe for Khan - can't punch and a step up from Salita in boxing ability. Makes for entertaining pre-fight activities. And it may be the biggest money fight for Paulie right now too.

    Thank you

Alright back to what I stated, he lost his heart the moment he saw this

And then realized why he was so shocked

Tactically Paulie Malignaggi did dominate Juan Diaz, he was always in control. Keeping his jab in Juan Diaz's face, constantly moving giving Juan Diaz a different look never giving Juan Diaz much of a chance to get set.

Infact IMO i think Juan Diaz only won rounds, when Paulie Malignaggi clowned too much and let Juan Diaz out land him on the ropes. Except for the few spurts Juan Diaz had when he was able to get in punching range, and really and truthfully it was only a few times.

He looked totally frustrated and could never get set, and i had Paulie Malignaggi a wide points winner. Paulie Malignaggi is a good fighter with some nice skills, but he's far too inconsistent for my liking to ever be a fan. And some of that clowning is really uncalled for at times. I just wish he would stop that BS and just get on with the fight.
