#1 Blair said "even if the science behind man made global warming is wrong we still have to act"....the mark of a true liberal genius at work

#2 I don't want creationism or any other theology in schools, I'm not a fan of the turbo-Christians, I'm very reasonable and rational when it comes to religion. The media ALWAYS asks the Republicans about it and Huckabee, when given the time to respond properly and not just doing a show of hands as Wolf Blitzer asked did a great job explaining his view in a manner that even the vile liberals Bill Maher has in his audiance were able to comprehend it and accept his view.
Tony Blair is not a man to be trusted. I would always go beyond him and ask to see the evidence first. I never fell for the Iraq war and am certainly not 'green' because of anything Tony Blair has ever said. He is a horrible little man. I wish he would stay still in a garden somewhere and pretend to be a gnome for the rest of his days.

On point number 2 I was ranting a little, but was voicing my concern at the alarming number of unusual trains of thought that I see emerging from the US. Creationism, the guns obsession, the aversion to universal health care coverage, aversion to wanting clean air etc etc. Not knowing your position on creationism I guess I shouldn't have just lumped you in with that bandwagon.
yeah clean air. Who the hell wants that shit in your lungs. Not me. The more toxic fumes the better I say. I'm going to start smoking crack again.

There is nothing finer than going outside and seeing the sky full of smog and inhaling so deeply that my lungs are full of the stuff. It's the mark of high civilisation, I tell you.

I know Lyle like his videos. Here is a very good one, Paul Craig Roberts talks a lot of sense in this.

I was just browsing You Tube and came upon this little nugget. You've got to respect Tony Benn, he's a good man.

I'm on a roll with the videos today. I've just been watching this Tony Benn interview with Saddam from 2003. Saddam pretty much tells the truth and nothing but the truth. It makes for really curious viewing sitting here in 2009 with all the benefits of hindsight. Now contrast Saddams rhetoric with that of the language coming from high level US politicians at the time. Saddam was far from a model leader, but he was at least able to tell the truth to the international community. Unlike the real war criminals, Bush and Blair who set up a phoney pretext for war, just like Saddam was saying right here.
