    In no particular order

    Movies:
    Lost in translation
    Wall-E
    The Pianist
    The Dark Knight

    (Can't think of any more)

    Albums:
Jason Lytle - Yours truly, the commuter
Manic Street Preachers - Journal for Plague Lovers
    Arcade Fire - Funeral
British Sea Power - The Decline of...
My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade
The Libertines - Up the bracket
The Flaming Lips - Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
    Muse - Absolution
    Scott Walker - The Drift
    Primal Scream - Exterminator

    Books:
None that I can think of, it's all been linguistics stuff for my studies over the past few years.
Mate, what possible redeeming feature did you see in 'Lost in Translation'?

    That film was awful!!

    Bill Murray/Stip club/Peaches
    Whiskey ad.
    erm.
And Santori is a damn good whiskey. I still prefer Talisker, however

Lost in Translation I could watch pretty much over and over. Well that's an exaggeration but it was awesome.

    Arcade Fire-Funeral
    Pheonix-Wolfgang Amadeus Pheonix
The Strokes-Is this It & Room on Fire
Radiohead-In Rainbows: bad decade for them but I liked this album
Queens of the Stone Age: Songs for the Deaf
    Fleet Foxes: Fleet Foxes
    The Libertines: Up the Bracket
Elliot Smith: From a Basement on the Hill
    Whiskeytown: Pneumonia

Meh, I'm not really happy with that list even though I like every album, I feel like I'm forgetting some stuff.

Books are most difficult for me to place in a context of time, I went to my room to get out a book I really loved that I thought was for sure only a few years old and it was written in 1996. So I don't know if I'll be making that list today, would have to think about it.

I'm tempted to make a "worst posters on Saddo's" list, but that would be very un-Mod like of me. Oh the heavy burden of responsibility .

great minds and all that, I was thinking of a worst poster list but decided it wouldn't seem sporting. By all means if anyone wants to start one off....

So wait, only since 2000? That's a shame because I just saw Miller's Crossing and that was EXCELLENT, but I'm pretty sure it came out in the mid 90's. At first I thought this thread was about ICB's posting habits. Oh well. I'll start with movies and then albums. Well I won't do albums but I'm just letting you know I'm not doing books. Like OumaFan said, to hard to place in the context of time. I'm almost done with Under The Dome though next is The Stand. Gone Baby Gone was OK, I didn't like it all that much.

    City of God/City of Men
    The Departed
    Eastern Promises
    Children Of Men
    Knocked Up
Lord Of the Rings all of them
    The Prestige
    Flags of Our Fathers
    Sin City
    Catch Me If You Can
    There Will Be Blood

Man I can go on forever and forever about just my favormite DiCaprio and Matt Damon movies. A lot of people called them overrated a while back and a lot of those people were DEAD WRONG, for my money they are two of the best actors in movie history and I'd love for some people to argue otherwise. Over the course of this post I have downed 2 beers and I think I am temporarily drunk.

Make any list you want. Best movies since 1990, 10 best ICB posts, best HTH posts about serving the Queen, etc.

I got home like thirty minutes ago and I have an Eastern Promises stream that's been sitting on my computer for like two days and I just watched the first two minutes which had a fucking gruesome throat cutting, yikes.

Stop talking to yourself. And why do you keep reading and replying to my posts about you? Are you stalking me? And why is it you hit the space bar before typing punctuation marks?

I really only want an answer to the last question, just seems that you're going out of your (my) way to be wrong.

I'm assuming that's a list of the best albums of the decade? I'll make my own as soon as I'm done this goddamn essay.

Yes just the decade, definitely not ever. I'm not sure any of those would make a top ten ever list. Some of them definitely wouldn't. I think if I had to make a list from each decade back to like the 60's the 90's would win out for me. Possibly something to do with me growing up during that decade but still I think it would win out.

Well the 80's would be good too actually.
