Did Floyd give your missus one or something??

    You're worryingly obsessed with him

Ok explain to me how a guy with an amateur record of 259-11, and a pro record that included 15 title defences and a unified division wasnt great? Maybe ask guys like Judah, Mitchell, Hurtado, Ruelas, Chavez and Angel Gonzalez how great he was.....
Kosta a was a good fighter, but in truth lacks the names on his resume, his best win is against Judah. Chavez and Gonzalez were old men, most of his defences were againsts nobodys and he was beat by two fighters who have been beaton more than once, I think Kosta was a good champion a great? Not for me.

Kostya is sort of like Pryor. Lack of big names on resume and dominated the 140 pound division for a long time. I also wondered why they didn't go up to welterweight and challenged the big names.

Here's another myth. Leonard ducked Pryor and was scared of him.

The big names tended to dodge him, if a guy who is in the top 2 ever at a weight division isnt great then i dunno who is. 18 title fights in 32 fights for 2 losses, and a unified division. if that isnt knocking on the door of greatness then u cant think many guys at all are great.

And what big names were those that dodge Kostya? I think this is another boxing myth. De La Hoya was going to face him but he got knocked out by Phillips, so there goes that fight. There were serious rumors that PBF would have faced Kostya but he lost to Hatton and that fight was scrapped.

So going off your theory Sven Ottke should be up there with the likes of Leonard,Robinson and Duran's of this world.

Mate get them Kosta tinted glasses off and just have a look at who he has beat, number of defences very good but then tell me who he beat? Like I said his best win was against Zab Judah who has been beaton by many fighters many times. Kosta was beaton by Vince Phillips in his prime, Vince was an honest world contender that was nothing special. Then he also was beaton by limited Ricky Hatton, ok the arguement can be made Kosta was not at his best but to say he was shot please dont start that shit, we all no he wasn't. To list Chavez as a great win shows how weak Kosta's resume is compared to other so called greats.

Generalbulldog I agree Pryor resume is also quite weak but his first victory over Arguello shits all over anything Kosta did in his pro career, that goes down as one of the best fights I have seen and Arguello was a strong favourite going into that fight on the back of something like 17 wins with 14 of them as world champ.

I've been saying this for a while, KT's resume is very overrated. You can always argue that it just didn't work out for him as far as big fights and he was a great that didn't get the chance but nevertheless they're not there. I personally think he was more of a good fighter than a great one but either way.

He might be knocking on the door, but he's not getting in.

Tszyu twice had fights lined up with big names in De La Hoya & Mayweather, in both cases with preliminary deals already in place. What happened both times? He lost fights & those opportunities disappeared.

Like Skel, beyond Judah what other prime names does he have. He's a very good fighter, but the fact is with welterweight historically being where the money is, others like Wilfred Benitez, ODLH, Mayweather, Duran, Mosley have all either passed through or simply bypassed the division to get where the money is a bit better.

Kostya is special. He was a brilliant amateur and had a bomb of a right hand. He was undisputed champ and great fighter.

    Some of my fav:

SRR aka. Walker Smith was undefeated as an amateur.
Willie Pep won a round without throwing a single punch.
Charley Burley was a great boxer.
Charley Burley KO'd SRR while Burley was a janitor at a gym.
    Duran KO'd a horse.

    You tell me why
He did duck Mosely right after the Marquez fight, and stormed off like a lil baby. But he is very entertaining to watch.

Got a lot of respect for Pacman, but that's very true.

God I think I've naturally put on about 3-4 stone since I was 16 and I'm only 23!
