The fight would be HUGE over here. Shame about Hatton/Warren stopping it happening.

Win win fight for Hatton too. He either goes out with a great win the whole of Britain would remember or he loses a changing of the guard fight and can obviously blame age.

As ive clearly pointed out year after year..

All at one time or another would of been huge domestic fights. But what exactly is the incentive for ricky hatton to fight a huge DOMESTIC star for 2-3million in the UK when he could be going over to america and earning double that to fight a guy he can beat with his hands tied behind his back

Hatton could have (should have) fought Witter anytime he wanted.

From what i remember Hatton had it wrote into a contract he signed with Warren many moons ago that he had to fight Witter, unfortunately Witter became a bit big for his boots and done himself out of a possible fight with Hatton. Started making crazy demands to Warren over money and Fwrank basically told him to piss off.

I can't see any way that this fight happens and I would be full of dread if it did.

it's easy to understand hardcore hatton fans afraid of khan doing a barrera on ricky but i think it will be a competitive fight while it last. an interesting matchup

I do not think the fight will happen. Hatton will lose his next fight against JMM, even if he wins, Warren would have to leave Amir and Hatton would not want to lose to a Brit.
