@Majesty - I have no double standard on my issues...But I will not compare apple and oranges... Would Mayweather come up with a penalty at PAC for coming in overweight?? No... Because Pac does not create advantages using his weight AFTER the weight is agreed upon... PBF will agree to a weight and then come in heavy...

The ROID issue is completely made up and has not basis of being even used against PAC.

@Killer - I really like your breakdown of the unrealistic terms of overall drug screening; however, my point is that Mayweather has no bearing on being the guy that starts this new drug screening process. This should be reviewed and drummed up by the sanctioning bodies... Not a fighters pre-fight stipulation without any evidence to even accuse PAC in the first place...
and a test is there to stop pac possibly using ped's to gain an advantage same thing
    On what grounds!!

"Possibly" indicates a reasonable doubt that he is clean..There is no reasonable doubt.. Sorry he dominated his opponents his last four fights... He must be cheating!!

so he goes from being hurt by the likes of marquez, but can take cottos shots easilly, his carried both speed and power up, his power seems to have improved ten fold

never happened before, most things would point to this being physically impossible

and anyway fighters should be tested like in any other sport

It may well be, but why not take the test and prove it? They're both subjected to the same tests, and Mayweather has a point by saying that he wants the tests to make sure that the biggest fight in history is a fair fight.

You saying earlier that 'there is no basis for this kind of test because it hasn't come up with Pac before' is ridiculous. By your logic, Nazim Richardson as wrong to accuse Margarito and ask him to re-wrap his hands because it had never been asked of him before.

If and when this comes off I thought I'd want Pac to win. But Pac's fans failure to see two sides of an argument is enough to make me want him to fail.

I agree with all of that... Good stuff, but isn't there still a standard on drug testing throughout professional boxing.. Shouldn't it be the same no matter what... And if it needs to be severely increased, shouldn't it be across the board...

@Miles, i will agree with your reply...

@ElTerrible - Weight is not the issue of this argument/discussion.. I don't feel like having a side bar... I do understand your distaste for catchweights, but if both parties agree then it is a moot point...
It should be the same across the board, but that is not realistic. Why not set the standard with the biggest fight of the century and work from the top down?

Currently drug testing is demanded by state athletic boards and is NOT the same for everyone. At the lowest financial levels drug testing is not done at all.

To be a professional boxer I don't think that it is too much to ask that every fighter has

    1. A clean bill of health from a doctor stating they are ok to fight.

    2. Random drug screens to ensure noone is doping, roiding, using HGH or whatever.

The only way to ensure this though is through an international commission which as of now doesn't exist.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
