Do we need a stickied thread for all Pacquiao-Mayweather negociation disussion?

I'm starting to think such a thread would be a good idea. I'm moving and merging threads about the negotiations at a frantic pace right now. My only concern about it is that it would be pretty easy for spammers (ie Pacfans) to take over the thread with their nonsense, so I'd imagine it would involve deleting a lot of posts.

Thoughts? I suppose I could always make a thread on the 100+ board and ask people if they want a stickied Pac - PBF negotiations thread.

you could have a sticky thread but its like the board i made they will still try to post other threads under different topics or turn other topics... prob just moving them to spam if they get too out of hand would be the best thing... because afterall it is kinda spam

Ok, I'll just keep merging/moving threads unless it gets really bad. I just know a couple of posters (Master [who suggested it] and Killersheep) were in favor of a stickied thread, but while I think it is a good concept I think that in practice it might be more trouble that it is worth - hence my post.

yeah mate its like the board was a good idea but then should the pac chat be kept off the main board and most just ignored it... so send it to spam... far more simple

I know what you mean. Lately, I've been wondering if I've been too heavy-handed in merging threads, but there seems to be a new topic popping up everytime Pacquaio or Mayweather farts, usually posted just above another thread about the same topic...
