Do we need a stickied thread for all Pacquiao-Mayweather negociation disussion?

Master posted this in a thread on the main board and I think its a pretty solid idea:

Can't we merge these threads, same old negociation rumours/discussions/negotiations. I can't stand it.

Obviously any major news about the prospective fight would warrant its own thread, but myself (and others as evidenced by Master's post) are getting sick of seeing new threads pop up about old topics or whenever there is a disagreement about which brand of toilet paper is to be placed in the dressing room prior to the fight.

Maybe, I just moved the other thread to spam. Maybe harsh but come on, that is months old news and has been done to death.

I've got to say the spelling is starting to bother me too I mean ffs its not like a misspelled word here and there, pretty much everybody does that but some of these people are just absurd.

I'm starting to think such a thread would be a good idea. I'm moving and merging threads about the negotiations at a frantic pace right now. My only concern about it is that it would be pretty easy for spammers (ie Pacfans) to take over the thread with their nonsense, so I'd imagine it would involve deleting a lot of posts.

Thoughts? I suppose I could always make a thread on the 100+ board and ask people if they want a stickied Pac - PBF negotiations thread.

you could have a sticky thread but its like the board i made they will still try to post other threads under different topics or turn other topics... prob just moving them to spam if they get too out of hand would be the best thing... because afterall it is kinda spam

Ok, I'll just keep merging/moving threads unless it gets really bad. I just know a couple of posters (Master [who suggested it] and Killersheep) were in favor of a stickied thread, but while I think it is a good concept I think that in practice it might be more trouble that it is worth - hence my post.
