Yes yes i get that taking the test would be an easy gesture to prove his innocence but in the essence why he has been accused in the first place is where the point of the argument comes in. why would pac go beyond the call of duty and take unnecessary tests just cause some people think hes cheating? Money? Nah pac doesnt care THAT much about money as much as mayweather. Hes pissed off that why is he being doubted in the first place. Thats why. Although i get that yes whats so wrong with taking the test and passing and shoving it on mayweather all the pachater's faces but its up to pac on that note and i also think this is all a publicity stunt gone wrong.
Mayweather Sr. accused MannyPacquiao of using steroids even before the cotto fight. MP kept quiet so he could concentrate on the upcoming fight.
now that the bout with FMjr is in the works, the dirty talk didnt stop from the mayweather camp, MP's super pissed, its a demolition job! all the hard work sacrifice etc that brought him to the top is being put into question without any proof/evidence. MSr. (and paulie) sowed the seeds of doubt.
had the drugtesting issue been demanded/requested by the governing body (NSAC) then MP would have agreed. but coming from the mayweathers & gbp, no way! MP knows that the mayweathers' into mindgames so he stubbornly stood his ground. they wont own him!

the analogy has nothing to do with the $40M. it's just to show how someone would feel in the situation. pacquiao is rich enough to forego $40M coz he still has the capacity to earn that much in the future. same thing with mayweather, he could simply bend their demands and propose a more acceptable test wherein manny wouldn't be mentally affected because of drawing blood so close to the fight. mayweather kept saying pac is an easy fight for them, so why are they too concern for extra testing? something that they never asked previous opponents before? ...something that is unprecedented. aren't they also throwing away $40M for a supposedly easy fight? i think pac's ego is getting the best of him coz if it were me i'd take the test but i certainly would resent it coz i know where it's coming from.

You know what..if i am put on the spot like Pac is I would take the test and when I pass them say "see legit so shut the fuck up" end of story Pac looks like a god. Bottomline he isn't doing this.
Same thing goes with the security guard bullshit, I'm confronted like that I empty my pockets whatever and tell em to fuck off . Not doing that what do you expect people to think....that you have something to hide. I don't see how this is so hard for people to grasp
McGirt recalling the minute break between the 9th round of the Ward fight "He said, 'Help me stand up and I'll finish the fight.'"
if it were as simple as emptying your pockets that would be easy enough coz that might be standard procedure, but what if they wanted to do a thorough search when there was nothing you did that would warrant it? mayweathers doesn't want to bend in their demand of olympic style testing where fighters can be tested within 48 hours of the fight to which pac has issues with. anyways, i just hope they get back soon to the negotiation table and work this testing b.s. out.

the BASELESS accusations (from mayweather sr. & paulieM) started even before the negotiations (FMj/MP).
had there been no accusations beforehand, it would have been easier to negotiate with team pacquiao regarding additional testing.
and if they will deviate from the normal testing procedures done by the governing body, it should apply to ALL, not just to manny pacquiao.
