my heart really goes out to Miguel, his dad and mine were roughly around the same age, and i can't imagine how it'll feel to lose him at this stage of my life, Cotto has his own family but the guy is still young, he's only 29, i mean i know no one is really ever ready to say goodbye to a loved one, but at 29 you shouldn't be having to be saying bye to your parents, especially as unexpectedly as in this case, parents never stop being that, and you'll never truly not need them in your life, que dios te bendiga Miguel y que te de fuerza en este tiempo dificil en tu vida, sabes que tu pueblo te adora y todos sabemos que tu padre era un buen hombre, tu lo demuestras todos los dias con tu forma de ser, que descanze en paz Miguel Sr.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Miguel and his family during this difficult time.
My heart goes out to Miguel now, more than ever.
It's obvious that Miguel got a lot of his characteristics from his father, and that the two were extremely close, so I know that Miguel's heart must be breaking from this.
Rest In Peace Don Miguel.
What I want to learn more about, is why it took so long for them to get help out to him? The clerk that called 911 said that he called four times! First at 2:04, then 2:14, 2:15, and then finally at 2:53 to let them know that he died. So 45 minutes went by, and still no help. Would he have survived if they would of had a better response time?
Cotto doesn't seem to be having much luck at the moment.
Condolences to Cotto and family. And peace to Cotto senior.
Condolences to the Cotto family. May God be with them through this tough time.

That's the way it is, not the way it ends
Sorry to hear that , may they all find peace in this.
I cant even begin to imagine how Miguel and his family must feel right now. This is very, very sad news. My heart and prayers go out to the Cotto family at this very difficult time.
R.I.P. Cotto Senior.
Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.
Terrible news. Been there myself so prayers go out man....
yea then played a video on the news this morning, basically had Miguel Sr laying on the floor covered with a sheet, and Miguel was on his knees next to him, his hand on his father's chest, he pretty much seemed to be in a daze, his face was blank as if still trying to process what happened, very tough to watch in all honesty, doesn't matter who it was, i wouldn't be shocked if the Pacquiao fight ends up being his last
My thoughts go out to Miguel and his family, sorry champ.

Not sure if I saw the same video, but I had seen video yesterday that showed Miguel's mother on her knees leaning over his body, and then Miguel beside his father, and he had his hand on top of his dad's hand.
And you're right Miguel looked so lost.
I started crying when I seen that.
On another note, I'm glad that I'm not the only one that is pissed at the slow response from 911 getting help to him.
