Ya its slow. Goaltending could be the difference here also as new US goalie looks sharp early.

Campbell was in goal for the States in the first Canada-US game which, until now, was the best game of the tourny.

I'm supposed to be making dinner, but I can't turn away. This is like the Gatti-Ward I of hockey games.

Both Canadian announcers are giving the American players no credit. Eberle didn't miss wide, Carlson made a great defensive play after being undressed initially.

Canada is so good on the boards vs USAs offensive speed. Really amazing game.

    3rd period here we go!

Great hockey game. Bowl of fire hot chili and tall glass of milk. Not bad at all.

Canada on the power play and Campbell already making one game saving stop.

Gahhh and thats what happens. So many chances and no capitalizing. USA comes down the ice once and scores. 4-3 it is.

I could be very wrong here, but this game doesn't have the same feeling as the last Canada - U.S. game where the America's were up by 2 at this point in the third but lost. That game Canada's comeback just seemed inevitable and I don't get the same sense here.

Allen horribly mishandles the puck, 5-3 U.S.

He might have cost Canada the game there.

I don't know if I would have pulled him there. Hasn't Allen played all the games (except maybe for 1 gimme) in the tournament? Putting the back up in cold here could be disasterous for the Canadians. Big difference between doing this and doing what the U.S. did by putting in Campbell.
