dont Fuck with the chuck
Pretty impressive if that's the real plan. Maidana would be a fair win for Khan, though I don't think beating Ortiz really means that much. So, I'm not sold on Maidana. Maidana might well spark him, but I am not sure on that.
Bradley would be a proper step up, but Khan would come a cropper in that. Bradley has come on leaps and bounds and has too many tricks for Khan. He will land on that chin and put it away for good.
DANGEROUS puncher for sure 26 KO's out of 27 fights so Khan would have to do what he did against Kotelnik who is Maidana's only loss
I think under Roach he can pull this out the bag, he seems so much more disciplined under Roach and is far less Gung-Ho than a few years back.
Best thing that ever happened to Khan was that spanking from Prescott.
He knows his limits now and has improved loads imo.
See a Huge year for Khan in 2010 and i really do think he'll be massive in the US of A.
Beat me to it. Maidana really should have won that fight I had it 8-4 Maidana, not saying my word is law or anything, but he was landing the clean effective punches.
That being said, I still think Khan beats Maidana just a total stylistic nightmare in Khan's favor.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Maidana's got that big looping right hand. He was doing nothing with it against Ortiz then after a few rounds he couldn't miss with it. He's going to be dangerous for every second of every round.
Talk is cheap , lets wait and see if this fight goes through.
Purse bids are set for Jan 18th, with Golden Boy and Universal in on the act too.
Like alot of people said lets wait and see, if Franky boy doesnt like where the fight lands he could still vacate.
Bradley would pick Khan apart, he is too well rounded and experienced for him.
Bradley hasn't got alot of power but his right hand packs some pop, I feel he takes Khan out in about 5-7 rounds, maybe earlier if he can really land big with the right.
Khan would probably beat Maidana based on his speed and movement although Maidana's power and durability can cause Khan alot of problems. Maidana certainly has a punchers chance.
Respect to Khan if he does fight these two opponents.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

Yup, I'll definitely give Khan kudos for fighting Maidana. He's avoided the punchers long enough since Prescott so it's time to test how far you've come.
But I too agree that Khan should take Maidana from what I saw against Ortiz. It's hard to hurt him even though you can knock him down but if Khan keeps things tight and doesn't get hot headed, he'll be too good. So for me he's expected to win..not to say he won't get the credit.
Then if he gets to Bradley, he will have truely convinced me that he is the real deal (depending on how he does - He may still raise his stock with a loss if it is a good performance)
Ha ha...actually kahn will fight maidana, then if he wins he'll try bradley. It cracks me up when guys plan thier "oscar 3 fight goin away tour" then get their ass beat the first fight. Worry about maidana kahn. Cause he could prescott your ass back across the pond real quick !!
Hidden Content Click clack ! Give up the purse.........or yetti will find you.
But, Kotelnik isn't a pressure fight with a big punch. Maidana will be pressuring for twelve rounds and if he connects solidly just once on Khan's chin, Khan is done. Of course, Maidana may not be be able to, but I like him in this fight. A championship boxing match lasts for twelve rounds - just ask Jermain Taylor.
I'll give Khan credit for taking this fight. I doubted he'd do it. It'll say a lot about him if he gets in the ring with a big puncher.
