...wow surprise surprise another "Bitch about the Klitschko's" thread how very original and entertaining

This thread is about Holyfield vs Botha and how some jackass thinks that the fight shows poorly on the heavyweight division just because the WBF is giving the winner a belt, which I might add is the title that one AUDLEY HARRISON had.

The heavyweight division is just fine, the only problem is that the contenders in the division are too young and inexperienced to truly challenge the Klitschko's....so tough shit hating on the Klitschko's they are going to beat anyone put infront of them for a long time even including the dude I refuse to mention.

Plus Holyfield obviously thinks he's still got it, judging by his performance against Valuev where he did as much as Haye, but didn't get the win, he clearly has enough in the tank to be mixing with the poor quality heavyweights around at the minute.

Fair play to the guy, still going after all these years, I'll be happy if I reach his age and I've got the conditioning to go 12 rounds with anyone, let alone a pro fighter, let alone a world title holder (be it mickey mouse or not)
That's a good post. Hard to argue againsed that as a fan who thinks he should have hung them up quite some time ago.

I thought the Valuev performance was perfect to retire on.......should he have got the nod (which I think he deserved 100%) and I think he might have just considered stopping. Who knows. Good post though.

I have to disagree about this fight....While I do agree about the state of the HW division and the entertainment value of its fights these days..

Does anyone give a shit Holyfield is barely even understandable when he speaks? Does he really need another fight (Outside of money troubles)

Holyfield was the last heavy I would have thought would have to fight because he needs money. At least it is not against someone that could hurt him.

The fight was actually postponed a month due to poor ticket sales not enough to even cover the venue

....and off topic and for the record. The worlds problem finding someone to beat either of the klits has nothing to do with either of them. I'm not taking sides but i dont see how you can hate them for being too good among these other loosers. If anything people should hate thier comp, they've made the fights boring. The klits do the same thing everytime cause thier crappy competition brings the same garbage to the table everytime. Curse them for making the most money, getting the highest rankings, and collecting all the belts with as little effort as possible. Why throw a right hand when you can beat everyones ass with the left and still save your other hand to doodle your wife and use the atm machine instead.

Fighters get paid to fight, if you are in the ring with an inferior fighter, give the fans what they paid for and beat the guy up. I'd rather see an early KO than a jabbing fest until the opponent gets so demoralised he quits.

Anyway who are you defending? The Klits or Floyd Mayweathers style? again!

    ......it's just never ending, b*tch b*tch b*tch

Do you want to watch the sweet science or a toughman competition

Maybe I should complain to the people who constantly complain about the Klitschko's....it's cold outside, my feet hurt, I hate my job, cable is too expensive, whatever happened to the jet pack and the flying car?

HAHA this is the same WBF belt that 48 yr old 'Aussie' Joe Bugner won by defeating 45 year old James 'Bonecrusher' Smith in 1998. If anything 47 yr old Evander ' The Real Deal' Holyfield v 41 yr old Francois ' The White Rhino' Botha is a step up for this prestigious belt.......

Mate I was joking.... Holyfield is an accident waiting to happen in the ring and Tyson is shot to pieces.

These guys should learn from Lennox Lewis - get out and stay out.

Yes they are paid to fight and they do, as it was said it is not their fault these other guys have nothing to offer....Shit this is a tough business and profession, why risk getting hit more often then need be?....If the opponent can force them to fight so be it....

I know I would not risk getting hit if I did not need to......Hell after retirement these guys have a life to live.........Why not live it with your mind intact?

Its not as if when an opponet throws punches back they curl up in a ball...

    OR

Worse yet Holyfield Vs Ruiz 4!!!!!!!! Because John for as nice a guy he is also believes he is a major force in the division

Why is Evander still fighting? Why does he have a license?
Well, because its boxing. I'm sure I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. It's sad to see things of this nature. I guess boxing is all Holyfield has in life and desperately wants to cling to the delusion that he can still compete on a competitive level. Given the division is filled with a list of tomato cans and headed by two really boring Ukranians, I can see how a 47 year old man, with early onset dementia, can 'think' he can win a title.

I would hope he wouldn't be sanctioned state-side, but nothing would surprise me in this day and age.

I think this might actually be entertaining. I mean it was not that long ago that EH gave that big Sasquatch a helluva fight and should have won. I'm going with EH by ko. And don't get me wrong I really hope he calls it a career very soon.
