The "dirty e-mail" does not exist. Atlas was relying on gossip, which was also reported in the New York Daily News on December 25, 2009. This rumors according to the documents were leaked by Mayweather Jr. This allegation (s) were also included in the actual lawsuits filed in the Nevada court., Line #38 and #39. Teddy Atlas is a known critics of Pacman, he is not a journalist and therefore dont know how to report. Although he said the report came from reliable sources does not necessarily mean its true, because he never saw the e-mail. Arum is expecting an apology and I believe the NYDaily News deleted that rumors from their achive. He could end up in the witness stand or a defendant for that matter.

who ironically tested positive for a banned substance prior to the 1987 world championships, this was supposedly kept quiet for 'the good of the sport'

his shown a copy of the test result and letter than was sent to him at the time on the documentary Bigger,Faster,Stronger.... didnt seemed too phased by it though

its probably more suprising for any athlete to be NOT using anything than the other way round ... this seems to be the sad truth of it all

I think its all BS really, but if the emails did exist i couldn't see them getting leaked because this fight hasn't been ruled out sometime in the future. If these were leaked, there would be no possibilitly of this fight ever happening, if they keep it quiet, it may yet happen. If they did come out the ensuing scandal would destroy boxing's reputation.

To answer your question: 40 millions each, a couple for each promoters and an historical record. Even if there is cheating and that Mayweather knows it, bet on it he won't spit the proofs around for a juicy payday, if ever it's true, you can be certain that some secret talks will be made about penalties if Pacman is caught etc. Of course, only if he really cheated.

That's the final straw. I'VE made up MY mind concerning Pacquiao. Whether there's truth to Teddy's claims or not, there is too much suspicion to just sweep this under the rug (like Pac's team would want). He can get as many impressive KO wins as he wants, but I'll never pay for another one of his fights. A couple months ago, fanboys were exclaiming that he's an ATG, I find that laughable now. His name shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Robinson, never mind on the list of greats. He shouldn't have even been allowed to share the ring with true warriors like Cotto, DLH and Marquez.
An absolute DISGRACE to the sport.
