Here are a few more from a recent trip.
It was bitterly cold that day and a lot of the animals were inside in dimly lit housing, behind glass and at a distance. This is the reason that some of the pictures seem a bit low in quality!

It cost 7,000 Hong Kong Dollars, which is around €700... which is about £630 I think. It's a Canon 450D, came with two lenses (one for close up and one for distance), 4GB memory card, carrying case and tripod. Hong Kong is cheap as hell for electronics though, so I'd expect to pay more over here on this side of the world.
One of the best investments I've ever made, photography gets really addictive when you get a camera like that. The 450D is only beginner to intermediate level though, I'd imagine the high end cameras are awesome to work with!

I'm going to be shooting a wedding in the beginning of February with it, should be fun and a good experience.

    Thank you.
Luckily on the day I went, it was too cold for the skangers to be out and about, had the zoo pretty much to myself actually!
I don't do this for a living, just a hobby. I've only been doing photography for a little over 6 months really, got my camera in the middle of June last year.

Cheers man, glad you like them... and never thought about selling them as prints actually! Didn't think I would be near that level yet.

No face behind the Silverback, but you would make a good paranormal investigator, haha.

And yes, I posted some night sky ones here not too long ago. Surprised they are remembered!

It's Oggie, not Skel. But yeah, those last pics are fucking phenomenal.

Won't let me rep you Oggie

Those pictures are so rich. Have so much depth, they are just beautiful. Do you do this professionally?

I've never really been good with a camera but I just read some of your tips which are great also. Really good stuff!
