That's because there was a gag order on during mediation, meaning no one could say anything about what was being discussed. The mediator also had a legal duty to publicly correct any false statements put out by Top Rank, Golden Boy Promotions, Team Pacquiao and Team Mayweather.
He has not corrected anything from GBP or Team Mayweather, only the lies put out by Top Rank. Btw, Bob Arum has now admitted that the 14 days offer was on the table
Pacquiao-Clottey May Head To Dallas; Arum Sounds Off - Boxing News
Read the 3rd & 4th paragraph.
I was pointing out that your post is as much a decoy as the posters you replied to. I addressed nothing about it's accuracy. Where do you read anything about me not wanting to see the fight anywhere? I'm just as disappointed as anyone, but I'm not going to continue crying about it. It's just better to move on. To each his own.... I'll leave you to it then.
The MP crowd has evolved from the ridiculous to the ludicrous. I cannot wait for the court date of this case. In a civil libel case in the US it has to be proved that the statement was malicious rather than just an opinion or belief. I am betting that GBP and PBF Lawyers will be able to demonstrate, using unusual dimensions vis a vis MP body development and the contrasting elements of his struggles with 126 and 130 pounders and blowing away of 147 pounders, that they had a legitimate group of circumstances on which to base their suppositions and opinions. All they have to show is a preponderance of propabilities in this case.
Of course they will come up with the idiotic allegation that PBF used some illegal substance. What else do they have? They are throwing things around hoping that something will stick and take the focus off from Manny's vacillatings. But that will not explain away the fact of Mayweather willing to undergo random testing while MP runs like virgin away from it.
I said before and reiterate it here that the conversation about boxing has been dumbed down several notches due to the developments in the PBF MP fight negotiations. And the architects of this devolution in intellectual progress can be laid squarely on the shoulders of the MP sycophants.
Arum has also admitted it read the link. So it's basically clear that Mayweather has not lied, whilst Top Rank have.
The mediator's statement covered any similar future claims made by Top Rank. It's why Todd deBoeuf & Lee Samuels were making no comment after he released that statement. It doesn't cover anything yet said by GBP or Mayweather.
I've no idea what you mean with your last sentence, I mean I haven't seen you backing up your arguments with verifiable facts. I don't think 'who the fuk cares! it's all just stupid shit' counts as any kind of rational argument.
Not really because its not banned. Its legal where he fights so its not banned, it only counts as being a banned substance if you use it in the state where its not allowed.
Like i said before...its like criticizing someone who lives in Amsterdam for smoking pot in Amsterdam. Its banned in shit loads of places but hes doing it where its legal so therefore its not a banned substance in his case. Its the same with Floyd.
xylocaine is not banned in nevada state. any boxer can use it not only floyd.
just for laughs. it will be hilarious if margarito will use xylocaine so that his hands will not hurt from the concrete![]()
The Mediator statements: It was impartial statements so that it applies to both parties. Perhaps you have read reports where author's have added their own comments? Boxing - UK Boxing News - Mediator's Corrective Order Re: Mayweather-Pacquiao Mediation
Here is Mayweather's statement claiming Mayweather asked for 14 days before mediation. Note there was no mention by Mayweather, Pacquiao, the promoters or the media prior to the mediation about a 14 day offer from Mayweather.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. puts out statement on*Pacquiao - Bad Left Hook
Arum's statement, in the link you provided, says “They made the 14 day offer and Todd sent a text message to (Pacquiao's agent) Michael Koncz in the Philippines. Five minutes later, Koncz replied and said Manny rejected that. The point is we have a written record of that.”
Since both Mayweather and Arum are proven to be less that truthful, neither of their statements can be taken as credible. i.e. both claim the offer came outside of mediation. I would expect that if Arum's statements about the text message are in fact true, they would use them as more evidence in Pacquiao Law suit.
