Bika was badly hurt by Jaidon Codrington. A case could be made that that fight should have been stopped in the first round.

Eh, don't downplay Jaidon's power due to his chin... Codrington can bang with the best of them... He just can't take it. Codrington has power in both hands that he knows how to use.

IMHO, Bika/Froch would be a barn burner but I don't see Bika getting stopped. I'd have to call a decision for Froch.

I wasn't deriding Codrington at all, I was saying that I feel he justifiably could have been awarded a TKO victory in the first round. I do think that Froch probably hits just as hard as Codrington does though if that's what you're getting at.

I get you. Yeah, I guess they probably hit about as hard... Codrington is definitly faster and has better form... Froch is just so raw... I'm not a big fan of him. He's just not very impressive. He's not all that fast, he hits pretty hard... He has horrible foot placement which forces his body to square up. I give him credit cuz he wills himself to win and finds a way... That's what champions do. He's just not very impressive to me, though.

Quick side note, Froch got a PURELY HOMETOWN decision in his fight with Dirrel. I thought Dirrel made him look like a fool for atleast 8 of those rounds. It's a shame what those judges did to Dirrel. As for Green, I like him because I'm from Oklahoma as well. But call me crazy, I don't think a vegetarian should enter in a tournament with 5 of the best middleweights in the world. Don't think he can sustain it. He gets in with a strong puncher and he's in trouble. Not sure he's the right fit for it. Eat some meat and get your strength up dude!

Bika showed against Codrington the difference between a fighter having $500,000 and $5000 on the line.

He's crude but dangerous. Sooner him than Green.

I dont think Bika has anymore skill than a lot of journeymen, but he has a decent chin, good power and great determination. I admire his willingness to travel, and the fact he is always in great shape. I hope he gets in the Super six cos i think he deserves a couple of pay days as much as anyone.
