Last fight : Miguel Cotto @145 (Previous fight was 147)

Now tell me how do you rate floyd and pac's opponents.
You want FACTS? Here you go...

I am a Pacquiao fan and dislike Mayweather with all my heart...

At the end of the day their fight is not being fought due to Pacquiao not adhereing to drug tests that Mayweather, himslef, will submit to.

...as I have stated in prior threads...

When athletes reach heights higher then has been achieved they are held at higher standards...

Pacquiao should have been flattered that his accomplishments are so mind boggling that people think he must be juicing... and then dispelled them with a drug test.

    He did not.

So fact is that nomatter where you go with your argument, Pacquiao walked away from the biggest fight in recent history and possibly the highest grossing because of drug testing.

Regardless of whether he's innocnet or not, he's made his bed and all his prior and future accomplishments will be questioned...

    FACT.

...so at this point it doesn't even matter who he fights... Go figure it's a Top Rank promoted fighter, though
Bro im talking about their level of competitions not the failed negotiation.

You are just talking about "imaginations", which is what you were condemning everyone that doesn't share your viewpoint for.

But Campbell is a rumor, not a fact, so how can we judge the facts when we don't know who Mayweather is fighting?

I see that's the way you look at it.

But the imaginations im talking about are the accusations being thrown around as if they are true or facts.

    e.g

Poster A: Pac shown that he can take a good punch from a welter in the cotto fight.

Poster B: Pac was able to do that because of steroids and you're a moron if you dont believe that

Poster C: Why the fuck was Pac rocked by significantly smaller fighters like Larios, Morales, and Marquez, yet he could "handle" Cotto's punches at 145, but he claims that he's "too small" to fight at the welterweight limit?

Poster A: Because he's not killing himself to make weight He walks at 150 to 154 lbs. 140 to 147 is his best fighting weight.

ROCKED? ok...They are much GREATER in terms of skills compared to Cotto. and at that state he needed to drain to 130 a day before the fight w/c he didnt have to againts Cotto.

    In addition to that...

Pac's previous "off-balance-care-free" style allowed him to get caught with punches he did not see. However, with Cotto he put himself in a defensive state seeing everything that came in.. None of them hit him on the button besides the jabs... Last time i checked pac has never been wobbled by a jab...if any fight at that...

Pacquiao never had probs making 130, and even at 130 he was the bigger guy against Larios who was coming off a loss against Vazquez, two divisions south

and yea he was rocked plenty of times against all three

he walks around at 150 to 154 lbs? so what's the point of his bullshit demands for catchweights? why bring Cotto down to 145?, especially when you say he's best at 140-147

IMO Cotto is technically superior to Larios, has better composure than Morales, and is stronger than Marquez

everything isn't so black and white when it comes to Pacquiao, especially with the PED issue now, his entire career is basically grey, meaning no one really knows if he did accomplished anything or if it's all thanks to steroids

oh and the Pacquiao that Larios fought was already the "new and improved" Pacquiao, as you nuthuggers fans like to call him

Larios Fought at 130 ahead of manny Pacquiao. Both of them were 122 at the same time for a long period. Yes he just lost to Izzy but with regards to size. Larios looked even bigger than Pac.

besides having a better defense now. The fact is he handled himself and went on to win regardless

Just over a year before. Miguel Cotto is fighting in a division 3 levels north. And is actually the bigger man wherever you look at it. Pac was 142 and 138 in his last 2 fights. Cotto was 147 and 146. 145 actually is favorable to Cotto if you look at it from a neutral perspective.

I agree. But the pacquio that fought the Featherweights doesnt have the Laser accurate right hook. Improved footwork and needs to squeeze to 130 a day before the fight

I agree somewhat. But he's no different than Muhammad Ali, SRR, SRL, Duran, Armstrong etc, etc we will never know if these legends cheated or not.

I dont think i ever said that. He's still a bit green prior to 135. The Diaz fight is the start of Pac's technical prime IMO.
