    LOL, quality !

Cue the Amir bashers ! Con Actually takes the most dangerous fight so far in his career - What will the detractors say

Ahh yes - 'Con will get blasted in 2rds'

Im glad for him, showing his bottle, guess it could be seen as retribution for the loss to Prescott.

I dont think his bottle was in question, I actully think he is a very couragous fighter, but he doesnt decide who he fights that's down to his team. Im happy his team are taking this fight as it is the right thing to do.

You have to question Freddie's call on taking Maidana on.

Khan is still young and untested in a lot of ways. Maidana is a firecracker, and can surely light up his night. I think Khan possesses an immense amount of boxing skills. Well I'll be the first to say that Freddie wouldn't pick this opponent unless he felt Amir had something to offer.

I am not sure Amir is so chinny. I saw the Prescott fight, but I really thought that was a really good shot. Is there something I am missing?

I say that, but did anyone see the Ouma-Martiroysen fight?? Freddie had to have been biting his nails when the scores came in for that fight.

This is a little dance he did with headgear in 2004.

Then there is this knockdown, he was in trouble before the knockdown, this was against a guy with a ko percentage of 22 % 8 ko's in 33 wins.

To be fair, im not the one questioning his lack of bottle. It does show that he has faith in his current improved style and / or his chin to choose to fight another banger especially, after the Prescott showing.

Im also pleased he has took this fight. For me it's now time to take off the shackle's and let him loose on the worlds best

This is a great match-up but it's being made bigger than it really is by all the Khan haters/dectrators. All those people will rubbish Maidana as a crude talentless slugger should Khan beat him.

Khan has a china-chin. It's a fact. Whether he beats Maidana or not isn't changing that fact.

He doesn't take it too well to his temple neither.

    Don't start that shit again

I rememeber you waffling about the difference between his chin and temple just before Prescott decapitated him.

He can't take a shot above the neck

Fenster, why not just say your usual "Khan has a china-chin. Fact." Are you moving away from the "fact"?

Those are we in the states call haters. I'm not huge on Khan but I'm not a hater by any means. Maidana is a legitimate fighter. He makes up for his undeveloped skills with his power and relentlessness. Khan may lack a chin but he may be able to finetune his style such that it doesn't come into play much and beat fighters like Maidana. Unfortunately, I pick Maidana to beat Khan.

exactly how I feel. I don't think he has the problem fighting bangers but his people have done. Respect to him for taking this fight and I do expect him to do a job on Maidana if he doesn't get above his station and decide to trade.

Respect for Khan if he takes this fight, win lose or draw. I for one think he outboxes Maidana.

If Khan takes this fight it's a step in the right direction and I'll give him a lot of credit win or lose.

I don't know, but I'm slowly starting to take a liking to this kid. Maybe because he's so chinny and could get sparked out, but has the ability to outbox most guys out there, until he meets the elite of the elite or an banger that catches him clean, which in a way makes his fights exciting.

As a lot of people have said, he could outbox Maidana for an wide UD or gets caught slipping and then it's over. But this is a good match.
