Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.
Mosley was outboxed by Cotto. Mayweather is faster, a better boxer, mover and has a better jab which Forrest and Oscar used against Shane effectively. The only thing Cotto has on Mayweather is power. I can see Mayweather outboxing Mosley. I think Mayweather outboxes Mosley over 12 rounds, he doesn't stop him, no way in the world. But I don't see Mosley outboxing Mayweather. Mayweather is gonna counter that double jab set up roundhouse right all night if Mosley tries it. If Mosley wants to beat Mayweather he needs to change his tactics.
Shane is a great fighter and will have backup plans and if all else fails he will just try and walk through and bomb away Floyd. Shane will not be denied.

Shane probably wont beat Floyd but the only guy to ever beat Mosley and make it look easy was Wright in the first fight, and that was Winky in his prime, i think Floyd wins a clear UD but Mosley is gonna test him and make him work
Shane has never done that in his career, what makes you think he will do it at 37...
When he got outboxed by
Vernon
Winky
Cotto
He was visibly frustrated and kept doing the same old stuff... Shane has a penchant to lose focus and get flustered/wild when he is getting out skilled.
the imprint on most people mind is obviously the Margo win and it was great since most didnt give him a shot, but dont forget margo is a sitting duck with 0 defense. Floyd is the best defensive fighter we have ever seen, and has great foot work handspeed and timing.. Mosely loses a UD 9 rounds to 3
Shane Mosley is a very good body puncher, and he will have some success to the body. But Shane Mosley as JT said can get outboxed, and often loses concentration. And that was evident in the fights JT mentioned, and also in the 2nd fight with ODLH.
I really like Shane Mosley and IMO he's one of the best Lightweights of all time, but he's never been a pure boxer despite his speed and ETC, he's always been more a boxer/puncher, and i just think Floyd Mayweather Jr's better technical skills will be the difference.
Floyd Mayweather by UD 7 rounds to 5.
