I think this is a good matchup. The chinny boy versus a fighter who has power but may be shot at this point of his career. It makes it interesting. It's a 50/50 fight imo. But let's see how Hatton does in his 1st fight back.

This fight is a possible now. It wasnt an option if Frank was Co-Promoting with Ray, that would never happen. But my stance has changed on this from 6 months ago. And the feeling I get from Rick is that this is a fight that we may well see later this year. Subject to both of their next performances. But even then,........ see Hopkins v Jones 2.
Some people say boxing is a matter of life or death, it's not, it's far more important than that.
It would be a good swan song fight for Rick. But only if he won it.
I have alot of mixed feelings about Ricky fighting again. I really expected him to beat Paquiao.
All questions will be answered when he fights again.
I thought of this fight the moment i seen Ricky falling to tha canvas.
its the last one on his list that makes sense and one he will think he can win with ease.
Khan now replaces the uk chat and column inches that was once dominated by Ricky and i do belive stuff like that matters to him.
and added to that he would see it as an easy nights work.
as for Khan he will see himself as being too fast to deal with and think Ricky is overated or on the slide or both thus getting alot of credit if he beat him and he will think he can.
the only supprise i would get is if this fight didn't happen... but Ricky needs to act fast because if he dosn't khan will get beat again![]()
As long as Hatton puts up a decent performance in his next fight who evr it is against then a fight with Khan is a definate.
Also another bad loss for Khan might prevent this fight happening.
