The point is that he is more likely to settle for 35% v Mayweather that might be $10,000,000-$15,000,000 than push it and miss out all together. Then go back and fight the Bertos/Collazos of the world for much less.

Who are the sources? 35% of the purse of a Mayeather v Mosely fight would be far greater than 5 million. 35% fighting Floyd would be far more than Mosely could make fighting any active fighter. You dont make sense at all. Floyd is not in a corner. Fighting any welter in the top 8 or a top nunior middle or a top junior welter would be as big a money fight as Pac Clottey. So how is he in a corner?
