Does Khan leaving Warren mean we will see Hatton against Khan later this year?

With Khan having left Warren and Hatton just announcing his return next summer, I can see this being a likely matchup providing they both win their next fights. Maybe I am just reading between the lines too much, but it's interesting that Khan has left Warren who in Hattons words was an obstacle to the fight being made. Also Hatton and Khan will have the Goldenboy connection which will likely make negotiations somewhat easier.

Maybe Khan gets decked before then or Hatton goes a crash diet too far, but I think we are being lined up for this one towards the end of the year. It will make a fair bit of money domestically.

These fights dont get decided on who`s ranked where in the boxing world or where they were born. We live in a commercially dominated industry where the fights tha make both financial and realistic sense get made. The era of eubank-benn-watson is dead. The big fights of the 21st century more often than not take place in las vegas because thats where the true money is in world boxng not the MEN arena manchester.
