For some reason it seems like everyone wants to fight Paulie. You would have thought Paulie is another Oscar with everyone from Khan, Pac, PBF, and everyone else that has been rumored.

It is interesting. My assumption is that Malignaggi is seen as a relatively high-profile opponents who is also relatively low-risk. If he beats you, it's likely to be a bit of a controversial decision and there's is very little danger of him knocking anyone out. He's been beaten every time he has stepped in the ring against an elite-level opponent and while he is inconsistent, even at his very best he is likely to fall short against top-tier fighters. He talks. A lot. Which means that he is good at selling a fight and he seems to have a decent following in New York, a very important city in terms of the fight game.

according to this site, he's looking for a later date for mosley

I really like Berto and I hope it didn't come off as bias... I just think Mosley has too much for him at this stage.
In all honesty I think a win for Berto would be huge cuz it would truely be the arival of a new star(I think he is already)... Mosley has already had a huge career and being he's on the way out anyway, it'd be a great "changing of the guard" having Mosley just come off that big win against Margarito.
I also think that Berto owes it to Collazo to give him a rematch. At some point, should Collazo keep winning I hope it's in the cards.

Berto's next step is to hide the step aside money al haymon gave him to let floyd whooop shane to try and 1 up pac for roid'ing out of thier fight. A very un-sensative statement i know. But the more i think about it the more i think it's true.

Not to sure but was really looking forward to this match. That said I agree...I think Berto dodged a bullet and believe Mosley would have beat him soundly as the waters deepened.I think some guys just reach a point at which they need to stop being nurtured, spoon fed a bit. After tough battle with Collazo this is what I think his people had in mind with Mosley...put the kid into his sink or swim moment.I think he needs to either rematch Collazo and go all out to win hands down or take a another huge name.No in betweeners or a Pauile just wont cut it.For all of his natural athleticism and possibility's,Its time to make a definitive statement.
I've thought that was possible as well. Clearly it's not going to be a popular opinion because what is going on in Haiti really is tragic and it obviously would impact Berto... But there's no doubt Floyd's camp would be in a position to make it worth his while, and without Mosley as an opponent Mayweather was in a bit of a jam and may have come off looking quite bad if he didn't land that fight.
I would say a Collazo rematch would be great to see. Or let him duke it out with some of the other undefeated contenders at welterweight; Saul Alvarez who has been mentioned as a future Mayweather opponent would be interesting to see or a fight with Kermit Cintron would be entertaining also.
