For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Okay I saw it.
First, the first hour had some absolutely cringe inducing/hilarious dialogue
Juliet dying in Sawyer's arms
"kiss me"
"you got it blondie"
It was good to see my first impression was right, that fake Locke was really Jacob's nemesis/smoke monster
Its a bit weird not having Locke anymore, even though its the same actor.
Second, what the fuck with the temple and all that, geezus now we have more new characters. I've always wanted to go back and watch all five seasons cause I feel like I've forgotten so much but I have a feeling the first two seasons or even three really won't even feel like the same show. There was a temple with "others" there the whole time, I thought the others were Ben's people, there were other "others?" I know they were the same others really, cause the kids who were kidnapped in the beginning turned out to be there the whole time, along with the stewardess.
And of course Sayid has to come back to life.
Fuck I feel stupid talking about this show, its so utterly bizarre.
And I guess cause they wanted the main temple guy to be mysterious they made him Asian, cause that's mysterious.

I say it's Jacob that has taken over Sayid's body, and that's why he came back to life.
Yeah that's one of the things I thought. Technically though it would be different than smoke monster taking over bodies cause he doesn't take over bodies so much, for example Locke's dead body is still there, he just is able to appear in their form. If Jacob took over Sayid then he just took his actual body.
Ooh I just had a thought. I wondered why if for example the Smoke Monster took Jack's dads body then why was his body missing from the coffin when with Locke he doesn't take over his actual body but maybe Jacob took the body over and that's why the body is gone, he took his actual body like he took Sayid's.
If that makes sense.

Felt like I was on shrooms wartching that last night.....=

Locke smoke monster not buying it ha.Oh and the 'ring around the ashes' hahaha um ok.Ben doing the voice over in 'refresh' episode was comical. And when does Hurley start saying nothing bad ever happens to him??On the plane? When the numbers had him 'cursed' well before then. And not to aim for the trivial...no not me....but how in the hell was Juliet not blown into a thousand pieces when she was laying on top of the bomb hitting it with a rock last season?Ive been convinced for two seasons now that the producers are making it up as they go.

Without watching the episode yet (it's on tomorrow here) i'd imagine that Hurley being all 'lucked up' would mean that the supposed alternate realities go back a little further than simply getting on the plane.
Like maybe he won the lottery but bad things didn't happen in his alternative reality.
Can't wait to watch it.

Yes that was like the alternate reality and some things were different, like Hurley's luck but obviously everything wasn't different.
Spoilers but not really anything serious
But this is weird now that I think about it. Why would some things be different and others not? Like if they changed the timeline, or made it an alternate reality or whatever it is, why would say Hurley have won the lottery but yet actually not be cursed by the numbers while say Locke for example is still paralyzed?
