Yes that was like the alternate reality and some things were different, like Hurley's luck but obviously everything wasn't different.

Spoilers but not really anything serious

But this is weird now that I think about it. Why would some things be different and others not? Like if they changed the timeline, or made it an alternate reality or whatever it is, why would say Hurley have won the lottery but yet actually not be cursed by the numbers while say Locke for example is still paralyzed?

Ben's character seems completely different now. I guess its that for so long he seemed in control of everything and now he's so obviously not.

I actually have rewatched a few season 1 episodes although I just don't think I can do the whole thing. One thing that struck me is the first time through I was mildly obsessed with Claire, lovely Claire and her lovely accent and on rewatching some I find her totally annoying and her accent almost headache inducing, she's always screaming about her "bay-bay" and how people are trying to take her bay-bay.

And Kate is still a horrible actress. And still hate Jack. Locke is the star of the show.

So the USA and UK are on the same timeline now?

If this wasn't the final season I would have stopped watching. Obviously they've been winging it for a while. Apart from Ben and Locke i'd like to see everyone else tortured to death.

When Saywer said he's gonna kill Jack and they went all dramatic it was totally ... almost worse than the kiss scene

Jack and Kate would be on my torture to death list. Everybody else I'm ok with to varying degrees for the most part.

It was ok at best I guess. One redeeming quality was having the guy from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia as one of the others.

Ok at best? I don't know. The whole alternate timeline stuff was just idiotic. Kate (die) was on the run, decides to stop off at a mechanic who seems totally cool with her pointing a gun at him. Not as in cool like I'm scared you have a gun I'll do what you want but like here's a cool click cool

    "what'd you do?"
    "murder"
    "hehe"
    "you have a bathroom?"
    "sure right there"

so she's back on the run, from a federal marshall, she decides she needs to go find Claire, in a gigantic city, and look there she is.

    "will you come with me?"
"But you're on the run and just carjacked my cab, wouldn't let me go, held a gun to my head, etc, etc."
    "will you come with me?"
    "ok"

Its like they had to get the two together but couldn't figure out how to make it plausible so they just said fuck it, this is Lost, you're supposed to have suspension of disbelief. That's fine but you shouldn't rely on that, its lazy.

Which wouldn't have mattered that much if it hadn't been boring. But it was. Maybe because I knew Claire was coming back.

How annoyingly ridiculous was that? A fugitive in a hijacked taxi drives plum back to the area where she dumped a pregnant woman - and not a cop in sight.

How did Claire leave? I can't remember anything about this show without 50 flashback clips
