Well good stuff. Can't exactly get on the back slapping and French tickling of Floyd for doing what a p4p top caliber fighter is supposed to do though...fight top flight fighters and real challenges. This should be the norm for any elite guy?Call me naive. Both are worthy, both are champions and the fans deserve this.May the best win.....Love Shane but think Mayweathers movement and jab will stymie Mosley over 12.Just hope for moments of great action, intensity,NO DRAW,now N.C bs and I;m happy.

what? that quick? no drama? no olympic style drug tests?

after pbf pac fight crumbled ive genuinely hated pac for it. ive heard a lot saying that random tests should be the norm for big named fights. how come pbf didnt wanted to fight pac w/o random tests while he signed the mosley fight that quick?

i cant believe pbf demanded random tests against a guy who was only accused of using. but did not against mosley who admitted that he was using. damn!

I heard they will both be tested using the Olympic testing method, as per the contract. Mosley had no problem with it, as did Mayweather obviously.
Guess they have nothing to hide.

    okay!

i was expecting it to have much more drama than pac. lol

now pac is fighting clottey, i mean what a joke! the title for that fight should be " ive beaten the guy who beat you".

i wish pac just accepted the damn tests then go on with it!

now i hate pac even more!

to stay on topic this fight aint no cake walk for pbf but he will clearly win this one. pbf still has the speed and ring smarts while mosley, though showed good against margarito is old and has lost the spunk he had when he was at his prime.

I don't want to stray from the subject too much, but I have to say that I can really see this whole drug test fiasco hurting Manny a lot more than he might think. His legacy could well be damaged beyond repair...
You can even sense it on the forum here, the hype bubble has completely deflated now, and there is a real air of resentment towards Manny (and with good reason!) The cloak of invincibility that has surrounded him for the last few years has well and truly disappeared!

This will be a spectacular bout! Im Really excited to watch how this fight would go. Im rooting for Mosley but I believe Floyd has a slightly better chance of winning than Mosley.

I hope Floyd never gets injured during sparring, especially on the ribs. That might cause delays and will keep us waiting.

Yeah... Fighter of the Year/Fighter of the Decade Bullcrap!... This dumb group, Boxing Writers Association of America, bestowing these awards to Manny. Shame, shame, it makes a lot of boxing gurus angry.

Who deserves the award more? In this decade Manny has put himself at the highest spot in the All time p4p food chain since Roberto Duran.

Marquez deserves it more. He beat Manny Pacquiao twice, cleaned up 135 and at least had the balls to step up and face Floyd Mayweather. Pacquiao has beaten people, but avoiding Mayweather and refusing drug testing has tainted him beyond measure. There will be an inevitable backlash against him and so there should be.

Yes Cotto did beat Shane , but Cotto had a real dig on him , Mayweather does not hit as hard , therefore Shane will be able to let his hands go without worrying about taking BIG POWER shots .
I am going for a Shane win , he will also be the first to floor and hurt Mayweather.

I was watching the Cotto/Mosley fight earlier today and it was really very close. Mosley took a handful of the early rounds and finished strong in the championship rounds. It could have gone either way. And that was Cotto before anyone had got to him too.

My only worry is if Mosley gets sloppy and reckless because Mayweather will make him pay. Mosley sometimes forgets that the KO might not come and that you need to try and win each round too. He needs to get it just right against Mayweather.

Me too. Fingers crossed Mosley gets it right. Floyd deserves to lose his 0 and to do it to against an old man would be fantastic.

first, jmm did not beat pac twice FACT.

jmm took on pbf yes but did not made a good impression.

jmm achievement does not surpass what pac did. pac was accused of doing peds but he was never found guilty. so believing that everything pac did has no weight anymore simply cause of accusations is stupid.

sorry for making this a pac thread.
