I agree. These straps have absolutely no merit nor meaning anymore. They are a pointless charade. I wish top level boxers with the clout to do so would start to stand up to these insidious and foul organisations and tell them straight that they no longer represent anything worthwhile in boxing.

As it stands I don't give a damn who holds what belt these days. It is meaningless, they have all been diluted and cheapened beyond measure.

No but seriously, Sulaiman made a point of honor to be the biggest douchebag to ever run an alphabetical chairboard: Diamond catchweight belt, super heavy weight championship, the Valero affair, the decision concerning Arreola.... the guy really doesn'T want to be beaten and he wants to go out as "the one douchebag".
