Couldn't agree more!! Williams breaks down a limited Cintron and pretty much ends it any time he feels after the second or third round. Cintron Vs Quintana though would be much more interesting matchup. I think Cintron actually may get to and stop Quintana early, especially if he lets himself get caught cold like he did Vs Williams second time around!
Definitley an interesting matchup think I' stick with Cintrons power being the telling factor, I'd also like to see him fight Marg again now he's been caught cheating, not saying he was against Cintron but it is interesting that the only man to beat him KO'd him twice and later got caught putting plaster in his hand wraps. Cintron was landing bombs on Marg especially second time round that even his chin couldn't have withstood 12 rounds of.
I think people are overrating Williams and underestimating Cintron in this one. Williams should be the favorite but an early round stoppage by Williams is not going to happen. Williams is no one punch fighter and Cintron is not exactly glass joe. If the fight were to end early then most likely Cintron caught Williams early. Which I can see happening because Cintron does have the one punch bombs and Williams' defense is really his offense. I hope Williams wins this fight but Cintron is not the slouch people are making him out to be. Cintron is in this fight and if he picks his spots to box, which is like kryptonite to Williams, then a Cintron victory is not some absurd ending.
This is actually a very nice fight.Off the top I can see Williams volume and Cintrons on and off mental make up the difference. But Cintrons respectable pop and Williams basically none existent defence makes it an uncertainty.Thing is Cintron has shown he can adjust and box his height albeit vs led footed Angulo and last Williams has shown patience and the same was vs Margarito. He lays in and throws pretty wide...but like a windmill.Odd irony that the man who debatebly earned a 'W' over both sits on the outside.
I think I give Cintron a better shot than most others on here are, if Cintron gets full leverage on a shot when Williams leans forward and is wading in, the bout could fall into his favor very quickly.
Martinez at least gets a shot against Pavlik (pending Pavlik doesn't back out again)
I am really glad this fight is happening, it all comes down to Williams needs to fight tall, like he did against Wright. That's the only time I've seen him do that though, every other fight he's given up his height, Cintron has ok movement when he chooses to box.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
