Yeah, I think De la Hoya is the biggest culprit of this....although one should mention John Ruiz in the Johnson fight. Kirk would try to attack the body and Ruiz would push Kirk's head down and the punch would land south of the belt.....one of the poorest refereeing jobs I've ever seen by someone not named Laurence Cole...but then again Cortez reffed that fight so I'm not surprised
