Default Vitali vs Valuev a no go....thanks Don King

Vitali's camp said that DKP and Valuev's camp were STILL wanting too much and now the talks have been ended. Vitali is now looking perhaps at fighting ODLAINER SOLIS....that was kind of a surprise to me as I thought maybe an Oleg Maskaev "stay busy" fight would have made more sense if he was really wanting the fight vs the WBA title holder.

I doubt Solis has much to offer Vitali but you never know...hopefully Solis can come to fight at a decent weight for once though

    excellent news

Give me solis-klitschko over watching him whale on valuev for 12 rounds everyday of the week.

Solis is quick, has good footwork and most importantly for a heavyweight can bang

    great news if true!!

Shame, I would of liked to see Valuev stopped finally.

Don King is not daft he knows Vitali would destroy Valuev and if that did happen that would take a big dive for Valuev's stock.

Vitali-Solis another small man getting beat up joke fight, it will go similar to the Vitali-Peter fight.

Solis is a fat fucker who stands at 6'1 I have seen Solis fight a few times. Vitali will beat him up pretty bad and it will like I said be similar to the Peter fight.

He is way to small for Vitali, who will tee of on him from the first bell, when this fight happens I will come back and give you the good old told you so when it happens

I vote that we do put Don King, Panama Lewis with Warren, Sulaiman, Bob Lee Singer, Murrad Muhammad and Francisco Valcarcel that we cast them on a desert island forever.

Shouldn't we actually be thanking Don King that this fight won't happen? Honestly is there one person who was excited about this fight? I'm so done with Valuev I have NO desire to see him fight in a meaningful fight ever again.

I also agree that Don was in a bit of a bind with this fight because Valuev was going to lose to Vitali there is no doubt about that - and a second loss in a row, on the heels of what some people believe were gift decisions against John Ruiz and suddenly Valuev is completely valueless. If Don wants to keep banking money with Valuev he'll just throw some over matched has-beens into the ring with him in Germany and collect the gate.

Actually, would it only be to see Valuev getting floored and fighting somebody more or less his size, that would have worth it, especially in the optical that a lost would mean we for sure wouldn't see him in a rematch with Haye or Ruiz for another snoring fest in a close future.

Solis will be more competitive than Valuev. I agree he needs to focus on getting his weight under control though. To compare Solis to Peter is crazy.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Where did I compare the two please show me??

I said the fight will be similar in the way it will go down, Vitali is to physically big for Solis and will have the jab in his face all night and not let Solis do anything " similar to the Peter fight "

IMO Vitali stops Solis within 6 rounds after giving him a similar beating to what Peter got.

This is what I was basing that on. Solis has a defensive skill set that all but guarantees it won't go the same as Vitali-Peter.

I will have any bet you want Vitali will beat the shit out of Solis, Solis is a fat Cruiserweight. Vitali big beat down.

Agree with Skel: Vitali would beat Solis down worse than Arreola. I've said it before but Solis almost makes Arreola look trim. He is 6'1 and weighed more than 270 pounds for his last fight!

Well if the fight happens I would be willing to do a sigi bet that Solis wins how about that?
