Couldn't stand him when I first saw him over here but underneath all of the bravado and runway swagger he had skills. That said I dont think he would have ever gotten Toney in the ring or beat him if he did.Toney was peak in that Dewitt-Barkley span and went on a tear of activity afterwards...9,10 fights within barely over a years time.HBO was pulling the purse strings...shocker I know....and Eubank had very little stateside appeal.

Not sure about Nunn...and was never ha.Thought that win over Cordoba was a gift and he seemed as less interested in the ring at times as Eubank himself.Chris got caught up in the enigma, showmanship alot rather that getting down to the task at hand...which led to all of the close calls.Personnaly I thought he lost to Close,Thorton,Watson,Benn 2,and those are the ones I actually saw.

He got a gift against Sugar Boy Malinga too. Don't see him beating Toney or Nunn and I think he was just quite happy to fight mandatories. He had a £10 million 10 fight deal with Sky and he only had to fight mandatories or top ten guys so he took the easy lolly.

For the life of me I can't see how Malinga beat him, according to some.

Eubank was really coasting in that fight, not interested at all but not really troubled at all, either. Jabbed Sugarboy's face off. He was sloppy but won easily, Sugarboy just couldn't get to grips with the guy.
