The European fighter got DQ'd for knocking the American fighter unconcious. This is an unequivocal fact. That's all i'm saying.

Therefore, speculation AKA NOT A FACT. The inflection you are putting forth that it would be okay if Abraham was not disqualified for the illegal punch had it not been as damaging, is that correct?

I thought it was a dirty cheap shot by AA and he was rightfully disqualified.

I also think Andre Dirrell plain and straight acted, which disappoints me and is something that should be confined to Cristiano Ronaldo types, which makes me think that Dirrell is a Ronaldo type. On the other hand, I really like Dirrell and think if applied himself better and been more aggressive, he would have had Froch out of there inside 8 rounds no sweat and would stand at the top at the moment. Dirrell Ward is going to be a very good BOXING exhibition indeed. I think seen as this has happened, this tourney is now wide open for Green to get in there....

I just cannot see how you could see that. I've seen guys in the gym get KO'd just like that & behave the same, only difference is they woke up in an ambulance rather than thinking they'd just blown the biggest fight of their life.

The twitching of the eye, the delayed drop, the convulsions are all very typical symptoms of being concussed. Like I said in another thread, if Dirrell is that good an actor, he doesn't need to box, he can go be a Hollywood megastar.

if the American fighter would have not been rendered unconscious from an illegal blow the UK fighter wouldn't have been DQ'd and would have only gone on to lose a lopsided UD

Abraham isn't from the UK, although judging from some of the posters here you'd think he was a born and bred Brit who walked into the ring draped in the Union Jack.

You know there are some phenomenal talents from Europe, I mean Klitschko is the man at heavy. Calzaghe in his time was the best Super Middle. Hatton had his time at light heavy. The UK has some great talent coming up so I can't say we are better than them in everything, BUT it seems in general the rules shouldn't apply to Euro fighters as far as public opinion goes, particularly when they are fighting Americans.
