I missed a few of the early rounds because i fell asleep, but i felt after the 5th round RJJ was doing quite well. H landed some clean right hand leads, i also felt he won some of the later rounds, to be honest i didn't think B-Hop looked better than RJJ.

He was just that bit more active and willing, but from what i saw it looked closer than the scorecards suggested, and good on RJJ for making it competitive. Because B-Hop should of had atleast 2 points deducted for some of his antics.

Seems like everytime Hopkins has to fight a bit these days he resorts to some shite acting display. Was it anything like Calzaghe vs Hopkins? I remember one of the times he complained in that fight for low blows I was thinking I could have literally flicked him harder than Joe hit him below the belt. Hopkins is not a good advertisment for brands making the foul protector (cup).

Yes it was like that but even worse, at one point in the fight. Bernard Hopkins hit RJJ quite hard with a rabbit shot, so RJJ does it back to him. But its clearly a tap, yet B-Hop goes to the floor for 2 minutes. It was ridiculous, and he only done that because he was fading late.

Sounds a lot like the Calzaghe fight then.

The Calzaghe fightx3, but apparently Hopkins went to the hospital afterwards.

I remember like only 1 or 2 right crosses Jones landed flush. Roy wasn't even trying to win rounds in there! I doubt he even argued he won the fight or even came close. Hopkins was the only guy actually winning rounds and he was punching and forcing the fight a lot more then Jones. Dirty as fuck yes, but he clearly won about every round as Roy wasn't even trying to win rounds.

Roy Jones landed way more than 1 or 2 clean right hands. Hopkins would come forward once or twice a round with vigor, but most of the time it was with meaningless punches that Roy blocked for the most part.

I thought Roy should kept on throw that right hook to the body there was no way for Hopkins to get out of the way of it.
