Bunce does waffle some shite sometimes but when I heard this I thought this can't be true, this would of been huge news surely if this was the case?? Listen to the podcast you might be shocked with what he says.

Bunce has made himself look like a right prick coming out with that. It's probably part of his 'defend British boxing at all costs' attitude.

I'd like to see where he gained his facts from to say "Trust me I know". I don't think there is a huge amount of info with regards to what happened but who knows. Think I'd like to do some more digging on this one....

I don't normally mind Bunce but how the fuck does he know what doctors tell their patients? Was he there? I doubt it very much. It's probably just hear say and he'll have decided to believe that piece as it makes boxing sound better after a dreadfull accident.

It was a pretty well known Fact at the time.

I certainly don't know the ins and outs of what happened after the fight, but it seems a bit strange and I would like to know more. Was McClennan really walking around fine after the fight?

Well I am on my blackberry so I'm not going to bother playing the podcast but on this issue I have heard 1 thing that gives an excuse for The G-Man's injuries other than Benn rabbit punching the entire fight. That excuse is that McClellan went through very VERY hard sparring sessions that damaged him before the Benn fight even started or at least weakened him to a point where he was vulnerable to injuries.

What is the crux of the argument that bald stooge is peddling?

No he said McClellan got up and walked out of the hospital in England and didn't have any problems until he ignored orders not to fly and went to America.

I'm not sure who comes out with more bullshit.... Bunce or lyle....

So according to Bunce, Even though Mclellen left the ring on a strecher with an oxygen mask on, he left england the next day right as rain and it was the flight and american after care that made him the way he is now....

i'm not sure I buy that.
