Nothing but respect for Moore, he's leaving after putting his heart to the test in the ring and he's bowing out at a good time. I hope he enjoys retirement and has his finances in order.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Moore brought us some exciting fights really sad he did not get that world title shot but at his best he was world class and domestically the best we had for a long time. His last fight he said he may move up to super middle but they would have been too big and strong for him, plus he has been in too many wars. Good decision hope he still stays in the game.
Do not let success go to your head and do not let failure get to your heart.

He brought us some fantastic fights which I'm very grateful for, but they were real battles and they take their toll. His fights weren't always the easiest for him.
Fair play to the lad, hope he's got a stack of cash to play about with and can enjoy a healthy future.

Its nice to see a fighter like Jamie finally realise when enough is enough.
Good luck.
24 Beers in a slab, 24 hours in the day.......go figure.
It's a good decision. A nice bloke. I will always remember interviewing him for this very website. Full of class.

Good move , although i am pretty sure after a break , he will make a comeback older and worse than when he left , as is the norm these days.

i couldnt believe he lost to Rhodes I honestly thought that would be the fight that would push him to his world title shot. The fight with Rhodes was outstanding and I will never forget it. As well as the Macklin fight too, that will be one to remember over the years. I feel gutted for Moore because he was a very good fighter. If he knows hes past it that hes definatly done the right thing, good luck in the future to him and I wont forget how much of a good fighther he was.
