Correct. But Boxing in the UK is NOWHERE NEAR as strong as Boxing in the US. Plus it was more of a case that (I believe) ITV pulled the plug on Mick Hennesy the promoter not Carl Froch the fighter. More importantly, ITV have been pretty bad with their commitment to boxing at the best of times, anyway.

Taylor-Froch wasn't shown live, that was the problem. Because it was taking place at 4am UK time the TV company showed it primetime the next night. That's no good to most hardcore fans who naturally stayed up to watch streams.
Froch's Super-Six fight was PPV on a UK subscription channel that half the population doesn't have. That's why fans were pissed off with it. It wasn't worthy of PPV and even worse on a station no-one knew anything about.
