Name the fans that said that? Apart from LeftyLee I can't think of anyone that makes Haye the favourite over Wlad.

I personally would have him as favourite, i even think he'll knock Wlad out or get a stoppage infact i'm sure of it.

Soon as Haye susses out his range against Wlad his speed will pay huge dividens.

I Spoke to Claude Abrams (Boxing News main man) about this last year as he used to get on my City train into London and we both agreed Haye should steam in and put it right on him... land a bomb early and put Wlad on the back foot then we'll see how Wlad likes it with a real live threat standing in front of him.

I feel the sameway mate, i don't understand why David Haye is such a big underdog against Wladimir Klitschko either. Wladimir Klitschko hasn't fought a dangerous opponent with speed + power since Corrie Sanders.

I don't really consider guys like Sultan Ibragimov as real dangers, this is the same fighter. Who faded against an ancient Evander Holyfield, and was dropped against Ray Austin and just about scrapped out a draw.

Both guys have got suspect chins, they both have the power to KO eachother. So i see it as quite a toss up IMO, and even against Vitali Klitschko who didn't look that great in his last fight, is so injury prone. It wouldn't shock me if David Haye pulled it off against Vitali Klitschko either.

Im still not sold on hayes defence

Even european challengers have at some point been able to land good, clean hard shots on him. Mormeck put him down (more a trip) if either brother lands clean theres gonna be huge problems for haye.

Either brother is stronger than DH, and they both are rangier. Its all if hayes speed and precision can give them problems and whether he can infact land that fight deciding punch that changes the whole course of a contest
