Shannon for some reason let himself become amazingly buff....To the point it hinders him....
His punch output is like 10 punches a round....
A prime Briggs was a tough customer in fights he trained hard for....
Briggs is not short talent wise...Just lazy and a bit over confident

He does I know that for sure...He does a lot of charity for kids who have breathing problems but Shannon would pull that6 card way way way too often....Always when he looked bad or when he lost he would say..Doesn't he have asthma?

Not too take away from asthma because my son has it and it can be hell if u went by what Shannon says it would be believed that his only losses came because of it

Thing is yes he does have asthma. But Lyle im surprised you didn't talk about how Shannon came in weighing less then he had in his last few fights which was such a big deal for you with Peter when he lost weight and beat some bums. Shannon did the same thing but you are less thrilled

in all fairness, at least the bum that Peter knocked out had just KO'd Oleg Maskaev, and well Peter has a lot more left than BriggsThing is yes he does have asthma. Yes he has more left. But Even with his more I Do not see him beating any of the champs right now. oh neither do i, well maybe aside from Haye, and even there i wouldn't have him as the favorite, IMO Arreola overwhelms him and stops himYes he has more left. Good assesment of Briggs.
In his prime I think he was much more talented than either Klitschko.
But he was lazy and came in unfocused sometimes.
He rocked Lennox Lewis big time in their match.
I think Briggs in his prime could KO Wladimir. He was big enough and quick enough to get to him.
Now though, he should stick to fighting on the WBA circuit lol
I'd like to see him fight Oldanir Solis or Holyfield maybe.
