You know what?Count me in.I think Martinez has more boxing 101 savy and skill set in his left leg than Pavlik has over all.One thing is huge for Pavlik....size and duh...power.But he has Imo learned nothing from Hopkins schooling, even sub par Rubio surviving a while and again Pavlik was so very 'straight line'.In and out,no bending...one gear and seemed hesitant and had to warm to occasion over time.

Martinez has enough mobility and mixed punch set to keep Pavlik turning and might just get him big time flustered. He MUST keep sharp and Martinez can be a very cocky guy,,,hands down, flaunting and a bit of coasting. He better be on point from jump off and not be a smart azz with limited but strong Pavlik and get off 1,2,3 and move.Pavliks strength can be his biggest liability against a smooth and confident boxer. The blue prints out on him.

I hope I'm wrong, but I think Pavlik stops him hard. Although on the FNR4 game I just played, Martinez scored a 1 punch 8th round KO with a left hayemake. I hope the game is right

Pavlik absolutely dominated Rubio, he won every round, and Rubio a couple of early career KO's aside is renowned as a durable guy.

Martinez couldn't finish a welterweight with chin issues in Kermit Cintron.

I think Martinez gets blasted tonight and Pavlik once again gets back in the p4p.

The loss to Hopkins I think was as much a case of a career worst performance as it was anything to do with his lack of skills.

He'll redeem himself tonight with a one sided display.

Rubio is indeed durable but he gave himself ZERO chance to win. That was one of the biggest non efforts Ive seen recently and it was not totally due to what Pavlik was piling on early,Rubio fought meek from the very beginning and has no where near the savvy and self confidence of a Martinez.

Martinez finished Cintron,it was as clear as day.To bad the ref had other things on his mind and gave Cintron second life.Martinez has enough respectable pop...putting Williams on the deck shows that. But its as much his angles and speed. His focus here needs to be stick and move regardless...he tries to match power and size with Pavlik he could end up staring at the lights.

Bilbo seriously .He had a career worse performance with Hopkins because he is one gear and Hopkins while currently a bore of both mouth and fists....showed what a versed moving boxer could do to Pavlik...mentally and physically.I can see a case where Pavlik just wades in and traps Martinez, kills that body and mobility...forces a shoot out and stops him but I think Martinez is also the second best all around mobile boxers boxer that Pav has faced to date. All I wants a good fight, the rest is gravy.
