told ya......this sport is just not for miranda. When he was scraring people before they even got in the ring he was effective, without that intimidation he just too east to beat. Perfect punch by bute though, miranda actually did have his hands kinda up and all.

I'd agree this kid is pretty damn good. I'd give him a chance against any of those guys up there right now. It's not just the Ko's it the way he gets em that's pretty impressive

I may be in the minority(which is fine) but I thought in the rounds prior to the cut Pavlik was starting to figure him out. He was starting to make Sergio miss wildly and frequently out jabbing him. I thought Pavlik was on his way to eeking out a close points win...maybe a disputed decision to some. Once he got cut, he just broke down like Juan Diaz.

Speaking of Diaz's. Where the hell was Pavlik's cutman Miguel Diaz?


What the hell was Miranda thinking Before the knockout, I thought he looked helluva lot better technically than he has in the past. In retrospect his handlers should have probably waited for another shot at Stieglitz.

Totally agree. Once he was cut, he didn't really continue. He said as much in the post fight presser. He said that he couldn't see out of his right side. In my opinion, Pavlik needs a new trainer.

How tremendous did Bute look? Geez. That upper cut was vicious.
