Come on man, your guy was an underdog and he won. Props to him now carry yourself with a little more class then that. They weren't haters, he was the less experienced of the two and Miranda was a wrecking ball. Thats not hate it's just a close fight.

OK clown, I have been picking Pavlik off and on the whole time. It's not about giving him respect, I've given him respect. He beat a good fighter. And he was the underdog so it was all the more impressive.

BUT, you acting like a fool on the forum, pounding your chest saying "I told you so" is not going to make you or the fighter you support liked by anybody. You and Pantera had differing opinions on the fight. He was always civil about it and you happened to be right and I'm sure he'll be civil when he comes back. You happened to be right this time. You'll be wrong other times, whether it's about Pavlik or another fighter I don't know. Chances are when you are wrong you run off and never return to the forum with the way you're posting right now. Pantera will be back I guarantee it so just chill, be proud of your man's win but no reason to beat up on Miranda fans, that's classless.

Incredible fight. Boxing needs more fighters and fights like this. I like Larry Merchant's comment about making the ring smaller, the gloves lighter and awarding more points to the fighter trying to make the fight.

i thort miranda looked drained in the first 30 seconds, his punches were not explosive i dont know why probably drained him self backstage from all the pressure. i dunno but did anyone else notice this and another odd thing was he didnt staredown with pavlik, didnt seem happy when they announce his name like in the AA fight and even worse he started backing up in the first 15 seconds without taking a punch....why? the other thing that could have happened was pavlik must have landed a short right hand which like he said himself doesnt look hard on tv but its dynamite. miranda after feeling the power may have been disheartened to pressure forward. i dunno tho, we'll see what the man pantera has to say for himself...

i dunno. im not making excuses for him but these things i noticed before the fight really got started?
