For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.
Faking an injury was the only way out of that fight without breaching the contract.
He would be an idiot if he didn't fake an injury, and would have lost tons of money in the subsequent breach of contract suit.
bottom line is that he was not getting paid, or getting paid next to nothing on a fight in which he was cashing his career in on.
Give the guy a break.
I would have admired that decision had he done so and I believe the Klitschko's would have been OK with him being honest about it and perhaps they would have worked out a new contract......but the guy just had to try and save face and look what happens, I laugh at him because he has turned out to be someone who's all hat and no cattle.
Can't give a guy a break for pulling out of a fight that in his own words "wouldn't go past 3". A lot of fighters take little money for the oppertunity to become champions. Haye might not of been getting what he orginally thought. But he was getting paid. No excuse for him not taking the Golden oppertunity he so richly claims to have wanted.
