..a sad story all around reguardless of what actually happened. People take sports way too serious with all the i love this guy i hate this one. When it all comes down to it boxing, football, soccer etc don't really mean shit in the order of what's important in life. The guy and his wife were human, easy to sit back and say this and that about any of these fighters when none of us know nothing about them only what you read and see on t.v. I feel bad for them both and thier families. The job of the media is to sell and make money, if they wrote the truth you'd find out thier lives are really no different than most of ours and who wants to read about that. Bottom line I don't know the what, why, of what happened but my condolences to all. Especially the wife who seems to be an innocent victom.

This whole ordeal is tragic. Valero was set to be a star and all this breaks out. I can almost bet you Edwin had frontal lobe damage from boxing and his accident (I believe it was a motorcycle accident) that caused him to have a plate in his head, its either that or a chemical imbalance or both and of course his substance abuse....tragic

was just watching his last fight ever against de marco and remember thinking to myself at the time how great it would be to see matchups like valero-khan, valero-marquez etc

Gutting that we`ll always wonder how great a fighter this guy could of been and the legacy he could of left in the sport
