It's just not worth getting worked up about what people say on boxing forums. If anything I find the comments about 'I want to see a film made out of this', 'I wish he'd lived so I could read his book' or 'I really wanted to see him fight Pac' far worse, as they show a total disassociation from the fact that two people have lost their lives.

I'm actually in agreement with all three of those points. Be honest would you boycott the film or the fight if he had lived and it was somehow made?

Probably several thousand people have died since I started writing this reply, many tragically. Just being aware of one doesn't make it any worse really.

And you really can't base whether someone is disassociated from reality on what they post on a Saddo boxing wall.

In psychological terms, you are guilty of making the Fundamental Attribution Error, which is a word used by people like me to sound clever and a know it all.

I agree people would of still gone to his fights, Tony Ayala who was a rapist scumbag. When he got out of prison people cheered him vs Yori Boy Campas, i know murdering someone is worse. But i wouldn't say Rape is far off, considering the victim is scarred for life.

Well I have been thinking since the news this morning what a great piece of journalism could be made out this. Seriously it doesn't show disconnect to want the story to be explained a bit more. Like it or not, in Venezuela this will be a story of a tragic hero who couldn't get past his own personal demons. A lot can be learned of stories like this, there's no reason why a movie, film, magazine ect. couldn't delve deeper into this without remaining sensitive to what happened.

So who would you pick to play Valero? I think if they wanted to make the audience have sympathy for Edwin Valero his wife needs to be played by Renee Zelwegger.

@Daxx mate, you made me lol at the 'you be exactly the same if you overheard someone at a supermarket. Just in case it happens, it wouldn't be a good idea to go up to total strangers and lambast them, please think first before you do it

I don't give a shit Bilbo....People talking shit and being fucking assholes I will tell them...

I have an arrest for beating up a guy who was smacking the shit out of his kid in the street and turned out to be an attorney for the city....Should I have minded my own business?" According to the judge yes...But hey I can't stand there and watch that...

I have an arrest for beating a guy up who was berating his wife at a diner...was it my business? Again according to the judge No!! but could not sit and witness it....

Not trying to act as though I am some savior or some tough guy for good because I certainly am not... but certain things are just wrong and I can care less who it is or where I am I will address it...Not like I am some left wing advocate or a Redneck militia member....who runs around hating non Americans...think the wifes place is to serve the husband...And Only male children are worth keeping because they can only carry on the family name....

I will speak my mind on it...If it is OK for people to say what they want why is it not OK for me to say how I feel about it?...

Like I said before not like I hold any feelings against anyone for what they said because that would be stupid how does anyone here effect my life? The second I click off the site all is forgotten...I am not Danny G I will not sit around my comp looking for ways to get back at people...

I said how I felt about what was said nothing more nothing less....

    R.I.P. JENNIFER.
That's all that matters. My prayers sincerely for her. I just hate it when some posters here try to justify your death from the hands of a guy even if he's mentally unstable, high on drugs or whatever. That specific poster who is a pathetic woman hater as wellknows who he is. Well I'm not saying I'm respectful to women,i made some stupid post about them one time but this clearly ain't shit to poke fun with or to put some charlie manson hatred with. A poster here clearly got in to my nerve by making those shitty posts. A woman was brutally murdered here and lost a life, lost a chance to be with her love ones for God's sake. I hope that fucking poster knows that and understands the shit he's saying in this forums.

I'm also a journalist & like you I want to know more. But, my first reaction to the story was not 'I can't wait to see the movie'. I suspect yours wasn't either Amat, or Bilbo's or most others here. I'm sure weren't also disappointed that you now wouldn't get to read Valero's book about killing his wife because Valero had killed himself. There's a difference between wanting to know more & being crass.

Valero doesn't deserve much sympathy for killing his wife but what makes me wonder is all the head trauma he had... I am not saying that it is automatically the cause of his behaviors but living closely to somebody who has had a bad head trauma himself, I can assure that it can totally change the character of somebody in the nick of time. Cerebral lesions are a bitch, believe me. IF he did drink and that it did cause even more problems, it totally makes sense as well as cerebral lesions are strengthening the reactions and confusion that somebody would normally have. It would be interesting to know how he was before his brain lesions and after as well as his reaction to alcohol before and after the incident.

Now Bilbo we both know how withdrawn from reality I think you are

I just think it's sad that somebody's prime concern on hearing of someone's death is that they don't get to see a film out of it. It doesn't anger me or anything, I just think it's kind of pathetic that is what somebody cares about.

Anyway, quiet hobbit, shouldn't you be posting videos of gangland hits for me to abuse you over?

Didn't you once pull me up, in a celebrity death thread, for making a similar comment about 6000 kids dying everyday because of a lack of clean water

I think that was when Jade Goody died and a ton of people posted that she was a worthless piece of talentless shit and that they couldn't care less that she had just died, in her twenties of cancer and left behind two kids.

I don't think anybody has posted that Mrs Valero was a worthless piece of shit and that they don't give a tupenny fuck she was murdered but if it happens you can bet I will rebuke them too

I'm imagining I'm Valero's brother for instance. I'm thinking of the utter anger and revulsion that I would feel at what he did, but also about that gut churning overwhemling agony that I'd have about what became of my brother. I'm imagining feeling that and then reading some of the comments on here. Thats why I agree with some of what Daxx says.
