Great post, Mar.
Rep owed.
haha
About Berto, I think his twitter post was just an expression of how a woman can fuck a man's head up, it was ill advised but I don't think we should go overboard on it.
We should also take into account the distinct likelihood of him knowing Valero personally. If one of your friends went mental and killed his wife then himself you'd be less likely to see only the evil in him.
As I said yesterday, my own best friend of 26 years' dad killed his wife when she taunted him that was leaving him for another man and taking the kids.
He snapped, stabbed her 49 times with a pair of scissors and then went mad for a year, living in a padded cell.
He was found not guilty of murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility, even his ex wife's parents forgave him, and he was released to care for his two kids.
I can only imagine the guilt and shame he has had to live wit the past 33 years since it happened, and the knowlege that he killed her in whilst the kids were in the house, and she died in front of my mate.
It's a horrible horrible tragedy all around but that one minute snap doesn't define who he is as a man. He will live for it forever, maybe suffer for it in eternity, and his kids obviously also bear the scars.
My point is though, that the people who knew him all stood by him, and I'm guessing Andre Berto knew Edwin Valero.
He was showing his support, albiet in a rather ill advised way.
