I watch boxing to watch them fight..that's it. Any of them could be racist murdering child porn collectors for any of you know, i bet there are even the same type of people on here......and quick to point out how bad others are. Who cares. Even the organazations that run this sport could care less, they're sure quick to let margarito fight again, and he could have killed someone just as dead with what he was doing. These guys entertain in the ring....they not supposed to be raising our children and giving moral lessons. Most of these guys fight cause they had no other option and crazy rough beginings. They don't pick up these guys from the ymca and church. And either way who gives a crap, let authorites do thier job and we as fans do ours. After i turn off the t.v. i don't think about any of these guys one bit, they served thier purpose. The whole thing is bad all around but valero isn't the only scum bag lacing up gloves and he won't be the last, If you watch boxing and only want to root for the "good" guys then there are probably only one or two amature fighters you're going to follow. And that's generally cause they don't have the money or time to get into trouble yet.
That's right. The homie Reverend Mar preaching the truth. I got into Boxing cuz I seen muthafukkas fight. Not cuz homeboy is a nice guy who helps the poor. It's about the fights.

coincidentally thats what he did considering what he's done for Haiti and given to it. Amazing how people now just dismiss him as an asshole.
I debated it a little bit. But yeah I decided to keep watching Berto fight despite his efforts to go help the poor

    haha

About Berto, I think his twitter post was just an expression of how a woman can fuck a man's head up, it was ill advised but I don't think we should go overboard on it.

We should also take into account the distinct likelihood of him knowing Valero personally. If one of your friends went mental and killed his wife then himself you'd be less likely to see only the evil in him.

As I said yesterday, my own best friend of 26 years' dad killed his wife when she taunted him that was leaving him for another man and taking the kids.

He snapped, stabbed her 49 times with a pair of scissors and then went mad for a year, living in a padded cell.

He was found not guilty of murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility, even his ex wife's parents forgave him, and he was released to care for his two kids.

I can only imagine the guilt and shame he has had to live wit the past 33 years since it happened, and the knowlege that he killed her in whilst the kids were in the house, and she died in front of my mate.

It's a horrible horrible tragedy all around but that one minute snap doesn't define who he is as a man. He will live for it forever, maybe suffer for it in eternity, and his kids obviously also bear the scars.

My point is though, that the people who knew him all stood by him, and I'm guessing Andre Berto knew Edwin Valero.

He was showing his support, albiet in a rather ill advised way.
