They aren't death threats?!?!?! I'm sorry but saying basically "Remember that Dutch film maker that got murdered for his film on Islam?....Well I won't say the South Park guys will end up that way....but yeah, they will end up that way" is a fucking death threat!
Yes and there are SOME nutty Christians, but they don't go around blowing shit up (bar abortion centers, which is frowned upon and punished by our government and culture) and cutting people's heads off. You never hear of other lesser religions going on jihads or whatever the equivilent of that is for whatever religion we're talking about. The last "crusade" the Christians went on was in the 1200's!!!
You cannot just blame this shit on "Oh their culture is different" because the type of people that do this shit have killed people and will do it again and I for one am fucking tired of it.
South Park showed Jesus crapping on the American flag in the episode they were prevented from showing Muhammad in and guess what.....no death threats from Christians
Muslims need to get a fucking grip on reality
How do you know? Did you check every Christian Internet forum? I mean this beauty of a quote was found on one.
It isn't a death threat. It's somebody saying they wouldn't be surprised if something happened to them. The author didn't state his intention to kill the creators of South Park. Even if he did, it's one person and it's no different to an idiot commenting on a Youtube video.
If you don't think you hear of other religions going on 'Jihads or the equivalent' then i suggest you further your learning by looking into the history of religious terrorism. The KKK would be a good start.

This is stupid, and the south park guys are stupid for going there. Obviously muslims are going to get a little bit upset when you portray their prophet who's not supposed to be portrayed as a bear. It's insensitive just like making fun of Sarah Palin's mentally challenged toddler. It's just low. Lyle, you're full of shit btw. My grandpa was a brimstone preaching southern baptist and he was just as crazy as a lot of these radical muslims. You don't know anything about the religion you're better off not commenting.
I think you and Ono are suprisingly perceptive posters. I expected most to just say the muslims were nuts so it's nice to see people being able to dig a little deeper.
As Ono said it was just a forum post, which actually has as much chance of being written by a non muslim as a muslim. It's a non story except for the fact that the creator's of South Park are jack asses.
I'm half surprised Lyle hasn't been on with his 'Not all Muslims are terrorists but all terrorists are Muslims' belter...![]()

I don't hate all muslims, I know quite a few that are very nice and are rational reasonable people but the people threatening guys like Trey Parker and Matt Stone or anyone else that is doing something frivilous have to be stopped.
No I don't check all the Christian websites but I can tell you I am 100% certain that ANY violence threatened or committed by any rogue Christian group will be denounced by the overwhelming majority of Christians, Churches, and leaders of the Churches. I can't say that I see the same self policing from Islam. The KKK and religion?!?!...WTF that is quite a stretch there.
amat, so it's ok for South Park to show Jesus crapping all over the American flag and Buddah snorting coke just so long as they don't show the Prophet Muhammad? That is fucking idiotic!!!! And notice, those guys can make fun of those religions without the threat of violence....do you not see a double standard hereIt's nothing like targeting Sarah Palin's mentally handicapped daughter, that is totally different and an erroneous comparison.
I have nothing against muslims in general, I just have a slight problem with them wanting to kill people over the littlest insignificant bullcrap....I mean there are 2 wars going on in majority muslim countries and they find the time and a "reason" to send threats to the creators of South Park.....I mean really? Really? Is it THAT important? Is it THAT offensive? NO it's not and they need to get off their high horse and get a fucking sense of humor ASAP and you guys need to stop enabling them and their line of thinking. "Well it is a stupid cartoon and well I guess they should be mad and send death threats to those guys"....I mean where does the maddness stop? Girls get acid sprayed on them for going to school, they get stoned to death for being rape victims, and a teacher got thrown in jail for naming a Teddy bear Muhammad not too long ago.....is that rational to any of you?
I don't care what religion the zealots are spouting off about, it really doesn't matter to me, I'm just tired of the bullshit. I'm tired of people being so fucking outraged over the smallest shit.....people who overreact like that make people want to make more fun of them.
No i may have used it as an example, but it's very different, as Khan's videos seem to attract pages upon pages of racial slurs, posted by supposedly normal people, who supposedly have a passing interest in Boxing. Wheras, the report in the OP's article was referencing a quote made by one member of a very specifc Islamic movement forum in retaliation to a sensitive sketch that was to be aired in a South Park episode.
IIRC what i said about Khan was that from viewing youtube comment sections, various Boxing and other sporting forums, and my experiences of watching Khan in public venues show me that there is an element of racial dislike. I never at any point implied that everybody who dislikes Khan is a racist.
The point i was trying to make was that not every Muslim will have found it offensive and not every Muslim will want to decapitate the creators of South Park, which by the way is something that shouldn't need saying, but apparently it did.![]()

Abul Ala Maududi is supposed to be a "radical Muslim", but just how radical is he?
I mean, has anybody seen him on a skateboard?
If God wanted us to be vegetarians, why are animals made of meat ?

Well... Oklahoma City government blow up building with Timothy McVeight.... they do stuff like that, they are just less numerous an not as trendy as the evil muslim terrorists but they are as extremist and crazy.
Actually, there is a lot to know about Islam, I am not gonna go into full details but we did organize an international symposium about it 2 years ago, more or less (I think if you type coloc international sharia Luxembourg in google it's still there). There is 4 more important school of thoughts (coming from the 4 Sheiks) and they are VERY different in their practices an interpretation of Islam, especially The Waabites and the Salafists (not sure of the spelling in english), some currents of thoughts are much more radical than some others. That's a first thing. The second is that many aspects of Islam got incredibly radicalized in some environment because of the Palestinian-Israelite conflict and because of what's going on in the Middle East. This radicalization comes from poverty and repeated offense against a people. In these circumstances, peoples tend to radicalize and to get angered, using something as a wagon. This time, the religion has been the wagon as it is always perfectly designed for such consequences. It could easily have been something else but the cards were perfectly played. Does it means it represents the real islam? Not at all. There is a lot of problems in every religion, including Islam, however, it is wrong to think they are all mad fanatics, we hear about the crazy dumb heads because they help to sell newspaper and magazines. Peoples aren't making discernment, which school od islam are they from, do they come from poverty, have they been brainwashed and by who, what about the more moderate school of islam? These questions aren't searched a lot and it gives place to the worst understanding of islam possible.
