He looks like the Russian in Rocky 4 IMO
This fight is so close but the difference may be something as basic as Kessler simply having the higher hands. Carls got away with it in his last 3 but has been rocked everytime. This is the first time he meets a guy capable of putting his lights out.
Kessler wins on points. Im pretty sure now.
McGirt recalling the minute break between the 9th round of the Ward fight "He said, 'Help me stand up and I'll finish the fight.'"
If Ward fought Kessler in Denmark of a neutral location he wouldnt be able to get away with 9 seperate headbutts. It would be a different fight.
People were writing off Kess after that fight but Kessler showed it just a badnight. He still has it. Even with that injury he showed great heart to slug it out in the 12th. Fairplay to him.
Hahah fuck off the old Kessler is back he won a close decision, the old Kessler has been and gone mate. Kessler wasn't that impressive imo, his footwork is not at the level it was, Kessler is lucky he is meeting Green in the next round and not Dirrell or he would be packing his bags back to Monte Carlo.
One thing is for sure, Kessler has an iron chin, great stamina and a huge heart. Kessler gives it his all for 12 rounds.
I had Kessler winning , but was impressed with Froch. Froch is a guy that looks very beatable but he has deceivingly fast hands and finds a way to hit his opponent. I always thought he would get crushed when he tryed to throw that telegraphed upper cut but no one can catch him it seems.

I'll watch it again tonight, but I had the fight a draw. I agree with Froch too if the fight had been in Nottingham, he would have won. It was very close. If you asked me who impressed me more regardless of the outcome, I would say Froch. Oh and that was the best fight of the Super Six thus far and fight of the year to this date in my opinion. Great final round. Wow.

Carl Froch already got a gift decision in Nottingham, no need for it a second time. And plus he was on the backfoot all night, only landing the odd punch here and there.
And you certainly can't win a fight that way, in the other guys hometown. But i had Mikkel Kessler winning legitmately anyway, he made the fight by being the constant agressor. Going to the body wearing Carl Froch down, putting his punches together, aswell as having the higher workrate.
